Actually, I believe this just might be a problem I've noticed with using FF or perhaps other browsers as well. There have been times where I've switched images in posts or uploaded different ones, and they were still the old ones. When actually, they updated and usually a refresh or some such was needed for me to see the new image in place of the old one. Or in some cases, I have to delete or remove the old image before uploading/replacing it with the new image because it either wouldn't change for just me, but did for everyone else, or it wouldn't change at all.

Don't blame the site dammit! It's talked to me before and I know it's just an innocent bystander!

Its actually the sites fault for keeping the same resource name.
The browser is only caching the image as the site has told it to do so.

I'm pretty sure it's a 100% postive yes. But that's just my 'silly' assumption after he said:
"I've been using Geocities for years and I hate it with a passion"

And:

"Are you going to do webhosting any time soon?"

That, and I think if we should be liberating any goddamn country it should be North Korea. Do you know what they do to those people there? They are forced to worship the leaders like gods, and the government doesn't allow anyone in the country. Well, very few people anyway. They are extremely out-dated on what's going on in the world and the people own damn near no personal freedom or privacy.

Yeah that was my bad what galileo proved wrong was just the geocentrism.
The guy they tried to throw off the planet must have been some1 else then where they kept sailing to the same direction to find the end of the world but they returned to the same point since the earth is round

Actually, if you're interested in creating an isometric RPG you may want to take a look at FIFE: Flexible Isometric Fallout-like Engine.

The CEP will be adding placeable houses and trees in v2.1 but the tilsets are left to the Community Tileset Project (CTP). Though, since they share no resources, I believe the CEP and CTP are compatible with minimal effort.

-420

Ive had a look at that, and it seems pretty nice - although my frontend will probably be written in flash to make it multiplatform, and accessible via a web browser.
I just need some nice tilesets to get started. Landscape tiling will be first priority, shortly followed by multiuser interaction.
So I guess im looking for a nice tileset I can use without commercial restriction.

I took 46 screenshots yesterday of CEP creatures, cropped and resized them, labeled them then linked each image up to its original hak pack location on NWVault.

We lost our master list of content so I have to search for all the original artists, the location of the creature in the appearance.2da, the location of the blueprint and the name of the original model.

And that was just one letter of the alphabet.

So, you tell me if I'm too busy.

-420

Is there enough tilesets, houses, creatures, etc in the community that would be considered free for use in development of an isometric rpg in a similar vein to ultima online?

Additionally, who would be interested in helping write a storyline and gaming system for a new community MMORPG (entitled Godspire)?

I guess that's flattering.  I'd classify this board as civil.  Maybe people have gotten a little bored at time though.

Yes, you've done a good job - its just that certain members have either forgotten or just ognore part of the original GS philosophy.

The very reason we had exponentially timed bans on GS was to educate people to be good to one another - right down to the obligatory 'gf' even if the fight sucked ass.

It was this that attracted the right kind of people to GS, and made it what is was. If people didnt like it, they would either leave of their own accord and go to a lesser server, or just break the rules, in which case they would get temp bans until they accepted our way,

Personally, I dont think that randoming (to use the nwn term) should be allowed on this forum.
You may consider that a form of censorship, but I think its simply a case of keeping a sense of decorum that this forum has been severly lacking of late.

Im glad it had the desired effect. I also respect your self control in this instance.

Just remember that the insults you continually throw at people could be taken in exactly the same way.

For example, attacking tyrael every time he makes a post is tantamount to bullying. Maybe you should take that into consideration before you push that submit button.

God alone knows why you were made a moderator in what used to be a civil community - im actually ashamed that the godspire name is attached to some of the threads in this forum.

As for your similarity to your girlfriend, even with my basic photoshop compositing skills I can see that the similarity is uncanny:

[attachmentid=1206]

Obviously dogs and their owners dont look exactly alike, but there can be a resemblance (link)

In fact, some peoples resemblance to animals is almost spooky:

I rest my case

Anyone ever say you guys look alike? Kinda like a dog and its owner.

Thats because Cowboys > Soldiers

Outlaws is by far the best western shooter I ever played. It has a gripping storyline ("Death's to good for them.") and the stylized graphics remind me of anime. It was also the first FPS that required you to manually reload your weapons.

Dead Man's Hand was ok, but the storyline was almost non-existent and it was obviously a port from a console. Still, it was worth the $9.

-420

Agreed - Outlaws rocked - it also had some very pretty video footage between scenes.
Even if you dont like FPS you should get outlaws just to see the cutscenes

Let him log in and just ban his ability to cast using the spellhook.

Send him a message like "Naughty Gwyd doesn't get to cast spells here anymore." every time he tries to cast.

Banning isn't any fun, that's why I created the Kobold Catapult for GodSpire.

-420

Or better still make his spells only damage himself, add a crazy gold value to all the weps he gets so he cant equip them, and then auto-equip some gloves with an onhit spellhook to kill him every time he attacks someone.

But then again, maybe thats why I have a reputation for being EVIL :)

Anyone out there a big fan of FPS westerns?

I loved Dead Man's Hand and one of my favorite games was LucasArt's Outlaws.

Well, now the next generation of FPS western is out and it's called Call of Juarez.

There is a single player and multiplayer demo available on www.3dgamers.com and some cool gameplay movies floating around the web.

I played the demo, very very cool graphics and gory as hell. It also features a "concentration mode" where everything around you moves in slow-motion while you draw your pistols and start shooting.
