So...Kerry or Bush?

Just curious who everyone's voting for this year.
Who needs narrative coherence, or even literacy, anyway? If you can dead-lift 300 pounds, you're the man!

Bush.  Kerry belongs on a beach somewhere, not in the White House, with all his flip-flops.

Where the hell are you anyway Anarki? =P

I'll vote for the candidate that isn't a white male.

Uh... hmm, Oh well, looks like I don't get to vote again.

Yeah they'll say that until they start bringing up "chads" again... silly people... I still don't understand why anyone would want Gore in office.

"I invented the internet!" and other silly antics...

I so very agree with you, but I mean if you had to choose one of the two, who would it be? (so far I'm still in the "without a clue" zone)

Four years of Bush has left me worse off than I was when Clinton left office. I find the Bush administrations tactics disturbing, and am concerned about our loss of civil liberties. If it continues in the vein it's been in since 2001, they'll be using the Patriot Act to round up dissenters.

From my perspective, it has to be Kerry.

Throbblefoot, Your cool level just went form VERY VERY COOL  to 'SO COOL I WANT TO WET MY PANTS'  (2 levels cooler than VERY VERY COOL)

The reason for such promotion is your proof of being an educated, observant, concerned citizen of the united states. (not a dirty bush loving "american")

Lord Elessar
Search google for the patriot act and/or  HR 3162, read the thing.  Then plan your move to canada.

Well, if you learned about McCarthyism in school it's basically the same thing.

At this point they are using the Patriot Act to label any criminal a "terrorist" so the criminal is no longer protected by the Constitution of the United States.

However, if the trend continues, it could get to the point that when you speak out against George Bush, you get arrested, labeled a "terrorist" or even an "Enemy of Freedom" and you get tossed into Guantanamo indefenitly with no trial.

"It is Nixon himself who represents that dark, venal, and incurably violent side of the american character almost every other country in the world has learned to fear and dispise"                                               -Hunter S. Thonpson
Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail 72

Replace the word Nixon with the word bush and ya got something.  I highly recommend this book btw.  Its about an election with the country in a quagmire of a war that is growing more and more unpopular and a republican president who regularly lies to the public and how he wins re-election.  Scarey book, but good too.  Right down to 25 million voters between the ages of 18-24 who will have to fight in and pay for the war who probably will not vote.  Sound familuar?

"Most people realized then for the first time that we have a system in which the president is chosen not by the voters themselves, but by 538 electors," the editorial said. "It's a ridiculous setup."

I think "most" is an over statement.

Why is it one OR the other? Write-in is an option that people seem to underestimate. Is anyone here of the blue collar working class and are angered by this lack of overtime bullcrap?

Nadder all the way. He may never win (ok never) but at least he doesnt lie like Kerry (just release your records you dumb fuck) and Bush (do i even need anything in here). But if i had to choose it would have to be Bush (lesser of two evils thing).
Watch it.

Hmm, I seem to be in an odd mood today, I wonder why...
