My favorite is Final Fantasy VII
because it has a nice story

Number 1, I just loved the way you could relay it loads of times with different partys and its simple yet addictive gameplay.

I've only played one FF and that's FF VIII cuz I never had a psx I din't liked them I was only into pc's.

Anyway FF VIII is the best game EVER that i played FF RULES

There was FFVII for pc too.

My favaourite was FFVII of course, best story and best batle system, his only downpart were the graphics (which i dont care), the remake on ps3 will take care of that

FFVIII, had way better graphics but they forgot the history part ( FFVIII history really sucks compared to FFVII) and i hated to need the materials to get a better weapon and the command thingie where you have to choose from, but the cards game was fun.

FFIX, went back to FFVII superderformed like graphics but it was so childish looking, and i hated that abilities thingie (to need to have the item equipped till you learned the abilitie) and it had the worst story of the 3, and its card game really sucked

and i still want to play FFX and up, i have no ps2

Well it's a bit to late to buy the little black box as the PS3 is coming up and i think you can play PS2 games on it too.

VII, it was the only one I ever played. On the PC of course, the PC version had new content that the console version didn't.

Oh wait, I forgot, I actually like the original FF on the NES better. VII was OK but the first FF was the best.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest! woooot

FFX was one of the worst games i've ever played...yuk...they should have made it into a CGI movie like Advent Children, cause thats basically what it was. At least Advent Children had good voice acting. The Sphere grid system sucked rocks, the side game blowed goats, and using a beach ball as a weapon is shameful. Thankfully I lost my memory card when I got to the final level so I didn't have to watch what probably would have been a terrible ending. All in all it only had one thing going for it, good graphics. I dont understand why it's so popular.

Best Magic System: VII (Materia Rulz)

Best Lvling System: Anyone that isnt FFX

Well it was the fastest selling FF game ever. It's also the 3rd best selling one.

Well it was the first Final Fantasy title for the PS2. It's overrated because of the graphics. In most magazines it even had a higher score then Kingdom Hearts. (I think Kingdom Hearts is way better.) FFX had like a 9.0 in most magazines and KH had 8.5.

I wouldn't get you hopes up, they made a bit of it for a tech demo and said it wasn't going to go any further, it was only the starting cutscene anyway

If the demand is there then they might make it. I think the demand is there, I wouldn't be surprised if it's made. Square re-releases many of it's games. I'd love to see a collectors editions of all the FFs on a single BD-Rom for the PS3.

A LOT of ppl would like to see FFVII on ps3, maybe theyre making it maybe not, but besides that theyre really making FFXIII for ps3, and FFXII for ps2 came ouT few months ago in Japan, only needs the translation

it has a new half real time battle system or so ive read.

FF7 is on the PC. Also, what Mo said. I got an NES emulator just so I could play the original FF again.

Uh, that's what the emulator is for, it allows you to play old console games or old arcade games on your PC.

My favorite nes emulator is the unfortunately named nesticle

For arcade games I prefer MAME
