Here is an interesting quote from a Gamespot Article.

Regarding Creatures:
Quote
For example, you can scale creatures and monsters in the game, so you can place a few plump cows around a village to indicate that it's wealthy and prosperous. Or, you can scale a regular monster, such as an umber hulk, to huge dimensions, to make it monstrously big.

and

Regarding Tilesets:
Quote
However, it's important to keep in mind that Obsidian separated objects from tile sets, which means that you can mix and match objects and interiors to your heart's content, and also hand-place objects anywhere you want. This means that you can put grasses and plants inside dungeons to give it an overgrown look, which is something you absolutely couldn't do in the first game.

Not bad, it looks a little like its not quite as good guild wars graphics.

I cant wait to see what kind of RP and PvP servers pop up.

Did we ever hear what Talon has in mind for NWN 2?

hmmm a couple of notes:

1)That guy needs to work on his public speaking abilities.  He says "umm" way too often.
2)Looks as much fun as a anthropology class.
3)Why is it so hard to keep threads ON TOPIC?!

Blame the people who make it off-topic to begin with more than blame those who follow. Since, I very rarely ever make something off-topic, unless it already is. Like now for instance, now we are talking of on topic and off topic, since it was already off topic, so... blame Hubba.

I can only imagine the things the DMs will be able to do, imagine all of the monsters 420 spawns in realistic graphics.

Let me rephrase to make it easier to answer.

Who is more foolish: the fool (uhh just answered question anyway but..) or some guy that would not follow the fool if the fool was never there or wasnt quite so foolish.

With scalable creature models we will have truely giant giants and swarms of tiny spiders!

I wonder how big they'll let you make a dragon...

Are you calling yourself a fool? LOL! Nah seriously, I was just pulling some strings, what you actually thought I didn't know I was off-topic? Jebus!

I honestly don't think the giants and drags will be that big, I think they'll be dissapointingly small. Not like the drags in L2... holy shit.

What I want to know, is whether they plan on running multiplayer on Lamespy again...

I doubt it, most companies have realized how worthless Gamespy is and are using alternative online game managers. America's Army just switched away from Gamespy with the newest patch but I forget the name of the new service they are using.

Usually Pay-to-Play are only for games with no single player. It wouldn't be legal for Obsidian to charge people to play on other people's private servers anyway.
