I'm posting a thread on Black Dog Towers board here because who knows how long it will be until Bug's tyranical iron fist smites it. I believe that no ones voice should be extinguished.

I don't know much about Bug, but from what I read, he sounds like a fucking asshole
I seriously don't know why they would ban you for pretty much no reason, who ban you on the forum? anyways, all of the CM members are alowed to post here if anybody from lm bothers the cm people like bug did to mo they will be ban.

I can't find where on BD that says Nara resigned. She must've said it while on CM and word went through the "grape vine." I'm guessing this means we'll be seeing her more frequently on GodSpire? And I'm assuming by "resigning," she quit as DM on that server.

All poeple I saw on Cm were fine (because I didn't see bug probably).

Anyway, if you plan going there, check this first:

no spell resistances
no bonus spell slots on items
no darkvision on items
no evasion, improved evasion, or freedom of movement
no decreased in anything..(i.e. decrease in skills, saving throws, or characteristics
10 things on a item limitation.
no vampiric regeneration..(unsure of this one)
no spells on any items
no potions of any kind
no scrolls of any kind
no vulnerabilities of any kind.
no restrictions of any kind (class, alignment, or race)
no racial or aligment based stuff
no holy avenger
no generic GodSpire items (the equip, books, duel manager, ect)

If something can pass the filter but is listed here, then I still wouln't use it if I was you. Also, if you know you can't handle getting banned for nothing, don't join it. Even Cm players get banned, for who knows what reazon.

Top ways to keep yourself from getting banned:
1) Make sure your character doesn't have any GodSpire gear or items
2) Different account name
-Some people have "Godspire" in their acct name
-Some people have "Doriath" in it
-Bug most likely recognizes your name
3) Different Character name
-Again, Bug probably recognizes the name or clan tag
4) Don't even mention GodSpire while you're in there

I've been to CM several times and have yet to be banned. Not sure if I'm lucky or I'm just smart

P.S. If your character is a multi-classed Paladin with other classes than CoT, you just get sent to a different area like a jail. I know from experience

I was on there for a while with a simple wm cuz I hit the guys everytime with it and beat those that weren't resist whores. My char had all tags I usually have, I walked around and there was never a problem.

Yea, probably because there was no DM around to catch you. But if I recall, you also talked about getting banned once but that was shortly lifted. So they did catch you

The /shop commands and all of that are part of one of those downloadable packages from NWVault. Bug seems to rely heavily on scripts and content written by the community for his mod. Which makes me think he must be using one of the common character filters on NWVault instead of a custom made filter.

Also, keep in mind, there is no reason to actually hack Circus Maximus, we just have to mention it on the CM forums a couple times and let Bug's own paranoia consume his mind. All we have to say is "Bug you've been such a terrible host that we decided to hack you." and just let him stew with that knowledge.

Eventually he will start to see hackers everywhere, and suspect every little glitch, script hiccup and crash as an attack by unseen forces out to get him! It's not much different from what he currently thinks anyway, so we may as well tell Bug what he wants to hear.

I thought Xellos expressed my sentiments exactly, I'm glad it's comming from a Circus Maximus player, maybe Bug will actually listen this time.

Here is what the current situation is between Circus Maximus and GodSpire. Please correct me if I'm wrong:

After Mo was made aware of a rivalry with another PvP server he posted to that servers forums offering to start relations anew, with a clean slate. The owner of the other server, upset by slights against him (both perceived and real), made it quite clear that there was to be no peace between our servers.

Does that pretty much sum up the events of the last couple weeks?

Anyways, yea, what 420 said pretty much sums up the last few weeks. We just want peace and Mo goes for an hour visit on their server, leaves, tries to come back only to find out he's banned... finally meets Bug in person and gets booted/banned. I'm sure I'm missing stuff in there but those were the major events in my book. All the insults/name callling didn't start till Mo got banned.

Pretty much it. Unless Bug personally comes to GodSpire or these boards with an olive branch, consider any relations with CM destroyed with no possibility of repair.

I do not see the point to try and build a relationship with a server that is run by someone who'm I do not respect, who is obviously not very intelligent, and who obviously doesn't care about much but his little stupid mod that he's building for his personally enjoyment.

The CM players are nice and all, but really they should just move to GodSpire is they'd like to play nwn amoung a larger community of good people.

Oh I did start posting threats of sending Ubernoob bombs on the CM forums.
I'm not sure what happend to that thread cause I am banned from even viewing the forums lol
