True enough. After all, computers are just an artificial representation of an intelligent organism. If computers are made to reflect life, than life can be thought of as the archetypal computer.

However, I contend that, for this very reason, it is a laughing matter.

I mean, a super-intelligent Creator made a mud-ball floating out in a void, full of hairless monkeys who all take themselves WAY too seriously? I think that's a pretty fucking funny idea for a computer simulation.
