Any chance of seeing a godspire mod up this year? Whats restored my faith in nwn2 is the CC team have a nifty PvP server in place. It has a well filterd arena with merchants, a duel manager and anti randoming scripts as well as nifty features such as coloured names. It has quite a few players as well. Not to sure about the item rules, 3 ac but 20 resist o.O but its quite fun. So if this can be produced now im sure nwn2 has a future.

The whole PWC download bullshit needs to be fixed. Once this barrier is overcome and more people start playing then nwn2 will be ok. Untill then it is pure donkey nuts.

Your kidding right? warlock is perhaps worst pvp class in nwn2
Why?
Because offensively they suck
9d6 = an average of 30 dmg. And thats only subject to a successful touch attack, and subject to opponent having SR and heres the big one, if they have improved evasion spells like eldrich doom do a big fat 0 damage. A decent monk with same items would smack a warlock silly, as well as a rogue/hider or any level 9 caster class such as wiz/sorc would smack it around with IGMS, ice storm and mantles.

Cannixx official WTF?! list that need to be fixed in order for a good pvp server to be viable:
-PWC files download. WTF get them streamed on join
-Monk AC bug the return. WTF get it out
-Broken hotkeys. WTF get it fixed
-Toolset and item level value problems. WTF lets get it back upto at least nwn standards
-Ranger + monk APR bug v2 WTF get it outer here 10/11 apr in level 20 dueling with 55+ ac and 30+ sr is not cool.
-Lack of emotes etc. WTF no one wil want to play online if they cant spam laugh and run at the same time.

i dont mind the bugs, they can be sorted after a few months of patching. 2 things that concern me so far are a ) lack of players and b ) annoying PWC files have to be hunted and downloaded seperately just to join somebodys mod, a big step backwards if you ask me. Oh and lack of emotes and the voiceset options scream lameness.
and theres other annoying stuff too, the little things. i cant quite put my finger on some of them, its things like online PC triggers a conversation and 20 other people connected get "snapped" to it, annoying lack of mp focus like the pwc problem, well all these things remind me of older games like baldurs gate, but in a bad way. it seems nwn2 is a squashed combination of all the crap things about pre nwn dnd games mixed with the crappy bugs of nwn. (im tired forgive errors)

And you were right btw, rings cant take + 10 but belts amulets etc can. Quite strange if you ask me.

slightly ot but 420 i cant seem to log onto throbbleserv even tho my gear is < lvl 20
all i have is each 5 ac modifiers have + 5 on them nothing else

Basically, this just means instead of saving all your skill points until level 20 then taking 1 level of monk and dumping everything into conc, listen and tumble you can now take monk at 1st or 2nd level and Able Learner and invest in those skills no matter what class you level up as!
