Taarna Reborn
« on: December 25, 2004, 10:30:20 PM »
She was dead for all intent and purpose.  She had passed on to a new world: one of guns and rockets; one where she was the hunted instead of the hunter.  She had accepted her new role in life and decided to move on and explore this next level of life, but someone kept calling her.
Even in this new world, she heard him calling out to her, praying for her return.  Bus Driver was relentless in his prayers and she heard them all.  Now, she has decided to return to where she belongs, return to the Spire; her home.
She does not know what she is returning to nor who will be there to greet her upon her return, but it will be within hours, not days.  She finds herself, even though she is a Goddess herself, praying that things are how she remembered them.  She prays to reunite with those she so loves.  See you kids soon

A shattering cry from the heavens sprays cosmic light across the dark sky and a joyous crescendo of trumpets trembles the forests; the great demigods rise and pay tribute to the return of their sole mistress; and all celebrate the return of her awesome benevolence and ruthless justice! Welcome home Taarna the Everliving!

Taarna has returned... this is interesting... Has The Gathering started?  It would seem so... The Spire is up or will soon be up... Lord Elessar now has NWN Platinum... Nathan has probably reinstalled the game by now... Who else will return?  420?  Throbblefoot?  Calia?  Xen?  Nemesis?  I don't know... only time will tell.

But for now, welcome back Taarna.  This might be the beginning of a happy reunion  of the Godspire Family :)

Alright, the celestial being must have a say in this! Well, I don't have much to say about it...

OK, this is my offical HL2 review.  The game itself is amazing.  Beyond cool.  The story sucks and the ending sucks even more.  Maybe that is how Half Life is, I never played the 1st one.  As far as the online part, it is limited, hard, and no real room for any chat.  It is sorta fun, but chaotic.  I am not used to FPS and don't think I am a fan of the online part.  The game was awesome and I highly recommend it.
P.S. WHERE IS MY GODSPIRE????  I WANT MY PEOPLES BACK!

Regarding HL2, I never knew why the guys in uniform were the bad guys :P
I just figured that these ppl were being supressed and that the guys in uniform were evil. Then this machine thing to destroy the world hehe. Only thing I liked was graphics and the ending, I really liked how the guy turned up and asked "time...... time dr. Freeman", his voice is done so well I think that was the best part of the game by far.

Anyway since gs isn't up perhaps I'll c ya at arivs :)
