What is godspire coming to. Every1 time i log i mostly see noobs, hardly any1.  :glare:  Its being invaded by them. Can't rember last time i log in and saw none or rarly any noobs ..

noobs isn't a necessarily a bad thing... it just means that more ppl are visiting the server

so what is gs coming to...?  more ppl  

p.s. now if we can just get 90% of these noobs to know the rules and follow them, we'll be set.  i say 90 cuz I want the other 10 to be naughty so the sents don't lose their jobs

Are you kidding?  Noobs becoming sents?  No no no.  With Mo's formula for choosing sents, it'll be rare, even near impossible, for a noob to be a sent.  Lance once said, "Reality check becoming a sent may take months and for 99% of the GS population becoming a sent will never happen. Sorry to burst your bubble, but thats the way it is."(corrected some spelling errors) Saying 99% might've been an exaggeration, but I think he got his point across.

P.S.  This should really get moved to the GS forum considering it's more relevant there as opposed to "News and Announcements."

1) Don't say 'not enough dm' because all a DM has to do is click on the BAN option if deemed necessary.
2) Sents can handle it.  Here's what I would do if there were a number of noobs.  Daze all the rulebreakers and then deal with them one at a time.  If they continue breaking the rules, perhaps they deserve to be stoned.
3) You might be saying there aren't enough sents because of sent gaps which is basically there are no sents playing on GS while you are.  If that's the case, just post the login and player name of the person breaking the rules in the randomer thread.

there will always be enough sents, or people who have enough common sense to know how to deal with it.

it doesnt matter if your not a sent. if there are none on board try to stop them, without creating a scene. drag them into angband or doriath where they can random or try to explain the rules to them. kill them a couple times too (if your in doriath or angband) if they are really bad, just put the name(s) and account name(s) on the list and people will watch out, if you see a sent come on, let them know what happened. A long time ago an idiot kept hostiling and then hellballing everyone and then dashing into aman to rest. we just killed him (no sents were on) repeatedly and he left. then i told cal when she came on and she got the word to taarna happy ending for everyone(except the noob)

Right    He knows well enough that he didn't use it right, and if poeple complain, afther just a few hours as sent. He shouldn't wonder why he lost it.

usually, pvp servers are afflicted by sneaker pickpockets, nulls, hackers with tweaked badtreff items, plot sets, people passin gout hack items or info,  etc etc and randomers. so.. a few more randomers thna usual is actually not unusual.

gs, even at its worast times, is extremely peaceful....
