I've played with most of those builds.. all in all they suck.

Ones that have potential with some tweaking, Reliable Archer (pretty much a standard ab/low ac arcane archer), and Rogue Archer (very nice sneak damage.. i'd recommend ditching ED tho or you'll be super-cheapo).  The rest of them are pretty much useless in a primarily pvp setting.  Ders used a similar build to the Undead Lord for a bit, which was good, but it wasn't built the same.. just similar concept.

If you come into GS with one of these builds, PLEASE at least change the friggin name though... or prepare to be pointed at, laughed at, and beaten by everyone you fight.

Not much you can do about the last one with these builds though.

A.K.A. Xorin - Dragon Archer of the Marauders

It's always best in the long run to be what you are. It isn't proper to behave as if you were more, but it isn't good to behave as if you were less, either... The whole problem seems to be finding out exactly what you really are.

Don't be discouraged to post links Boo. How could you know that the GS people have been testing out the Bioware Epic Character Builds.

I personally check Biowares site every Wednesday for the "Bioware Wednesday" (used to be Neverwither Wednesday). That's how I knew about the builds.

Most people don't check that site weekly (or daily like me) so some people may be interested.

After all, GS provides pre-built items to use it a duel, why not encourage the newbies to use pre-built characters too, at least until they get familiar with how GS functions.

the thing is that noobs dont use their brains and don't realize that they still need items for the pre-built characters; now if they did think bout that then i prob wouldn't beat them every time i challenged someone with a prebuilt char to a duel ; )

And also, don't misunderstand me.. those builds are *very* good, just most aren't meant for PvP.

I use that a lot when im trying to think of a new campaign character =)

I definitely didn't mean to sound like I was attacking your link, just saying that they're good for *ideas* but won't stand up to a seasoned pvp vet.

Also.. the dwarven defender dragon guy is fairly decent too.
