Sunbeam and blindness

Ok i think i might do some more testing on this.

I saw  level 20 druid, with a  primary castign attrib (wis) which was maxed just on character build, excluding the most that you could put on tiems. The druid casts Sunbeam, it has a reflex 32 DC, and when u fail u are blinded.

I think the spell description says blindness will occur  if u fail the save, but i thought it only applied to monsters and not pcs...

If this spell applies to pcs, then i gues it is like wof?

did you guiys experience this before?

(i wasnt sure whether to post it here or in nwn general, and since the post about cheap builds is here i thought to put it here anyway.....)

it works on pcs too, if that's what the description says. There's no mercy for pcs ';..;'

but since that's a dc based spell it's not evil or lame in pvp, since it can be resisted. Whereas WoF can't and has to be removed after being hit a few times.

their feathers are just too bright.
And when they fly away,
the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoyce.
But still,
the place you live in is that more drab an empty that they're gone.
I guess I just miss my friend."
