This unfortunate turn of events was precipitated by the general crappiness of the 1.64 patch, and the instability of the server today. The server is crashing just about every 10 minutes, and some clients seem to be crashing much more frequently than that. The DM client seems especially unstable.

There is no way to hold a battle under those conditions.

Thanks for all who showed up, and sorry it took us an hour to decide to postpone. Please post thoughts on dealing with the other changes to NWN with the patch, especially the total weakness of dispel.

what's the change with dispells? are they finally working like they should?

I don't like the dp change either, tho it's how the spell is supposed to work.

WE HAVE ALL BEEN ABUSING BUGS (they do so not know how to script :P)

Ugh, the DM Client seems extremely unstable, we got about 45 people on and my "Kernel32" keeps crashing!!!!!

Not to mention the lack of attendence, probably due to some players not updating to 1.64 yet.

Will the leaders/council members of both clans please post here to discuss a new time/day for the 4th Clan Battle? Thanks!

What the hell is wrong with these patches....thats all I want to know...why do they always cause more problems than they fix?!

Whats the change with  DP?

The battle needs to be postponed until the server is working properly...whenever that might be

Divine Power is now working as in the description: the ab of a cleric is turned into the ab of a fighter with 18 str of same lvl (base ab I believe).

So instead of getting my raw 9ab I get 4, it's ofcourse how it's supposed to be, but so are the dispells.....

A lesser powerfull divine power isn't bad, some cleric builds did get too strong whit it.

i still seem to crash when ever there's a lot of pixel drawing( i.e. spell castings); i'll move the camera and POW "nwnmain.exe has encounter an error...."

Pointing that DP change is good and poiting dispell aint sucks. Your honouring one bug and hate another. Dispell was actually really bugged. Yes that's right. Cleric's now sucks, but are they suposed to have a chance vs Sorc/Wiz?     (No?)

well I was actually thinking that the dp change would be great, since it's supposed to give base ab, so with my guy that has a max of 65ab, I'd get a max ab of 69 because dp gave me 4ab. Now this doesn't happen, but I didn't expect bioware to do everything right away :P

Also, I love the change in dispells. Ofcourse I'm not much for mages with acid sheat, but now I can't lose my buffs :D
