GodSpire DMs/Sentinels PLEASE READ!

OK, I have just heard a disturbing discussion on GodSpire. It seems that a someone has been handing out Sentinel Runes to players.

It is never acceptable to give out the Sentinel Rune or the DM Guardian items to players. Mo is the only one with the power to assign new Sentinels, anyone else giving out Sentinel Runes is undermining his authority.

Again, do not give players the Sentinel Rune or the DM Guardian items.

In addition to that, wouldn't it also be a problem because if anyone is passing out Sent Runes then we'll have all sorts of n00bs running up to DM's and askin for one.  

*Imagines 20 ppl running up to any DM, "Can I have a rune!?"

LOL, i dont think newbs know what makes sents have the yellow balls other than the fact that they can turn into one really big ball. I admit iv been sliped a rune once or twice, but i think runes dont like me because i crashed 10 minutes within getting each one. And yes they were both when i was the only 'regular'(or whatever u want to call the normal people) on and hte DM had to leave, yet there was a FFA in progress in the main hall. I agree they shouldnt be handed out but there are certain circumstaces that it is helpful.

*in complete seriousness* i really want to know what to do, what do you do in the wee-hours of the morning when there's rarely a sent or dm on. and there's a few ppl running around randoming *or worse used the Scan Bug to get hacked gear in* what do we do?

If there was nothing u could do just take their log name and post it here and ask people to watch out for him. Or u could be like me, and kill him till he gets the point

Guide to handling randomers if there are no sents or DMs around:

Oh oh....there is a randomer about and there is no DM or sents around...
What to do in this case is simple:  By all means take matter into your own hands and defend the server!  Spam killing a randomer is almost better than stoning them.  They will leave 90% of the time after being repeating slain....
