I am starting a Free Lineage II Server, you can download the whole game at http://www.lineage2.com/pds/game_dw.html then go here and download my Free Server inni File http://www.spydies.net Then, after you download the Game Client from Lineage, install and let it completely update. Ater it Updates, cancel out of it and put my inni file in the Lineage II System folder. Start Lineage II again and just type in an account name and Password you want to use and my server will automatic create the account for you. :excl: Sorry, I just seen the Attachments at bottom, here is my inni file.

Havent looked at the L2J project for months, and it seems to have come on tremendously! Might actually be an excuse for me to host an MMORPG again.

This appears to be worth a try... Will download the two last parts of the client before going to bed, then download the first part tomorrow (Which is actually today, but nevertheless...)

Ok, it was brought to my Attention that people cant join, but I can for some odd reason (yes, I am on a different Computer). I will keep working on it and Post here when I get it going. Sorry for the hassle, but something good always takes time

Stick in there with me, I am gonna need alot of GM's, this world is Huge!!! and it is gonna be Full PVP with starting out 10X the Drop Rate.

If you are hosting from home, make sure you have forward the ports onto the server from your router. also make sure that you are using your EXTERNAL ip in the server configuration. you must also make sure that you have posted the CORRECT EXTERNAL IP/hostname in your ini.

Ok, I got server up, but the Ping says 9999, getting close!! Yup, I am using the External IP on both things..... All Ports for the game are Open, I will get it soon, not gonna stop until I do.

Agreed.

Hosting a server cannot be a easy task. And, from what I've been able to deprive from the internet, the amount of available host programs are quite limited.

Also, the autoupdate takes annoying long to complete...

Try it now mate, was updating and server had to be down....Sorry about that, just havent had anyone in yet.

Still not working, it seems.

If you need a pinpoint description of the problem, as it is:

First off, I installed Lineage II into C:\Programmer\Lineage 2\ (Default Path)

After that, I launched the updater, and after it was done updating, cancel'ed out of it. Following this, I went to http://www.spydies.net and downloaded your (Summit's) multiclient lancher. I then added the .ini you posted to the game, as: C.\Programmer\Lineage 2\System\Summits\l2.ini

After adding the .ini and the name of it to the multiclient program, I launch the game via it. Seemingly, it works fine. I enter a ID and a PSW, and press log in.

Nothing happens.

Dont add the Folder and all just put the l2 File into the Lineage II\System Folder and overwrite the old one, then you should be able to join.

Done that. It still fails to connect, it seems.

Curiously, I tried using your multiclient to connect to a server posted at spydies, by commie.

Seemed to work out better (I will not say fine...) as it at elast allowed me to enter the game.

Rhaz, try to join the Free server that Commie uploaded to Spydies,net, if you can get all the way into it, and actually play, let me know, that means there is still a problem on my end. That other free server is frosts Server, but he is a Uber Server and I am gonna run mine as Legit as Possible, except for the Drops are increased a little to make it more interesting. Let me know Please....I am sorry for all the Hassle I am causing you all, I am just trying to bring us fellow gamers a little something different for when NWN gets boring, and it does get boring sometimes.

Dude, Dont worry about hassle, If your legit than I think I would rather play yours anyway. Dont up the drops to much though man you may kill the game. Leave it hard but not to hard to get rewards.

I herd that the official servers are allitle stingy, possibly just more drops than the official would be nice

Actually, yes, I can join the server commie posted, but, of unknown reasons, I'd much rather be palying at your server (Maybe it's because I'll be more "even" with others that way.

I'd dare say that the problem lies in your end, mate. Prehaps check the port forwarding, and, as Talon suggested check that the external IP in the .ini is correct, and not the internal one.

I know this may sounds odd, but I am, as it is, only trying to help.
