I have a very nasty problem where my browser homepage has been set to
ht tp://db105.com:81/cgi-bin/index.cgi?c=0 and i cant change it i have tried most things i know and yet have failed i have ran search and destory and it has picked up nothing i also have tried a nice lil proggy from xen and even that dident pick it up apart from this problem there is a dailer somewhere on my computer i cant find but i can hear it trying to dial out. From help from xen i got rid of alot of spywere but these two things wont be fixed :( im tired hungery and pissed off any help will be most greatfull.

What browser are you using?

IE? Stop slap yourself in in face and go to Mozilla and get Firefox. If your using Firefox try uninstalling and getting the latest version.


P.S. If youre using IE there is (i dont remember where) a key in the registry to lock the start page. If you search our friend internet to find it try looking for "Lock internet explorer start page" or something.

Reinstall should fix it, regarldess of the browser. The long term fix is to stop downloading and installing questionable software!

1.  Drive to local hardware store
2. Purchase blunt object (Hammer works great)
3.  Drive home.
4.  Bash computer a lot (make sure it's unplugged so nothing bad happens
5.  go outside and run around flailing your arms like an idiot

I had exactly the same problem.Just install any other browser or format your main disk drive.

*Spywere gone
*No sound :(
*CD with sound card drivers and all that drivell wont wont work :(



(this is a edited post last one was to messy so i made some nice bullet points ....who am i kidding no one reads this forum)

OMG your luck is incredible.
Ok,do you have a PCI card or on mainboard?
And wich OS do u have? (If Win XP,very good)

If you have a PCI try just repluging it.
If mainboard try finding drivers on Google.

Also try using some old drivers just in case theres something wrong.
