ok.. say the players at gs all like ot play TA or postal or GTA online...

can we script a port sop that if u go through it, nwn minimises and we all go to join the other game?

wouldnt it be cool? it would be sor tof fun cos if we get bored of team pvp in the new gs, we can walk into the TA or CNC RA portal whenever we like....

now that's a scripting nightmare!!!

EDIT: Thanks to all who replied to my post! yup as at 420's post at 420pm we all concluded it's a pipe dream ... (at the moment) - hmm i wonder if linux could do it.. hmmm

sorry but as far as i know its not possible. you cant script a script to minimize one game and start another with a scripting system that is for the first game, esp since there is no such function.

don't wanna exit - ugly windows loading screen

i want a tunnel through a dark forest which i can walk through and then appear.. in the new game!!! yay! all neverwintery like.

it could happen, but that wouldn't really be scripting nwn, you'd have to get windows to direct you to one .exe file if you went through one portal like that. Hooking nwn into windows and then run an .exe file..... that should be possible actually. I mean I don't know how to script, but it sounds logical enough, then again there's the problem of making it work... bah I dunno

This idea actually derives from a pipe-dream that a lot of people had about the internet: A single, centeralized location where all internet data is stored and can be accessed by anyone.

I'll tell you what I told Mr. Johnson, my Journalism teacher: It's not going to happen.

I'm not saying it isn't a good idea, just impossible to implement with the current state of Software Licenses.
