Quick note: It is incorrect to say that Doriath won the first "war", they won the first "battle". Battles are what you fight to win a war.

OK, Doriath, you won so you get to determine the time/day of the 2nd battle (though it may be delayed until we figure out how to minimize the lag).

When you have decided the time/day, please post it here.

Rule Violations from the last battle

Do not start until I shout "GO".

Please wait in your teams base (don't cross the bridge) until the battle starts.

Don't launch catapults until the battle starts.

If you die and are not resurected you are out. When the server auto-respawns you and a referee hasn't dazed you, please tell a ref you are out or simply return to your clan's base and sit quietly. (no launching catapults if your out!)

euhm, when somebody is dead and get respawned and they arent getting dazed i dont think people will tell that to the refs... I think they just gonna keep on with the fighting. (i wont, but some other people maybe) <_<

More than one person came to a ref to say they were out, some of them simply stopped fighting and a few (you know who you are) continued to fight after they were out.

Smaller battles (ie less players) should be easier to manage.

I RESPAWNED AND KEPT FIGHTING RAWR....... no sry I wasn't there

how many referees were there? I was looking and there were actually a lot of dazed peps. might not have seen it all so I dunno who kept playing.

Melisa, Throbble and I were the 3 referees.

Talon made a short appearance shortly before the end of the battle in the guise of the default DM char. (Dunge Onmaster)

and what the heck does "polemize" mean!??!?!

still doesn't make sense to me, sry :)

ok, next battle, I have an idea:

For the battle we get the server rebooted with a password on that only clan members know. Should take care of lag issues if we keep the teams reasonable.

Processor usage was at 53% idle.

Ang lag experienced cant have been due to the server.

if the war is going to be on the 24th 25th 26th 27th of sept at all i wont be there because im getting married on the 25th......... sooooooo everyone decide its up to everyone im just saying if it has to go on that week i cant make it

I think lag is almost always caused by:
  • Low end computers
  • People that cant accept loss
  • n00bs spaming AoE

    I myself only ever lag when im on this cursed 56k, Never lagged on my DSL.
