Help!

Heya, I am having massiv trouble getting on NWN.. first off when I load up the game and press play at the pop-up menu thing.. it says I have an acess violation of 00441966 the the module 'nwn.exe' read of adress 72656461.  After it says that it lets me play.. but when I try to join GS, my character shows up and it says it is scanning my char.. after like 2 seconds the screen goes black and the module loads up again.. then it says scanning my char.. and surely enough 2 seconds later the screen goes black and the module loads up again.. it just does this over and over.. help!

The scan is "expected" (sigh) but I know I never get this:
"acess violation of 00441966 the the module 'nwn.exe' read of adress 72656461."

Memory access problems are not being caused by Talon's new security measures.

Ya, I am going to try and reinstall first.. btw ty Mo, I have been really busy with school/work and my computer decided to die... as well as the fact I was in CAL matches for CS and NS.. bah to much stuff to do.

I can't believe they have official matches for NS. It's the most unbalanced FPS I've played (and I love it)

It is very unbalanced mainly because of map setups..  Like on some maps that aren't fade friendly.. aliens usually lose..  and other maps aliens just get owned no matter what.. I swear on ns_metal aliens never win.. jesus

ns_metal? is that one of the steam crap maps?

I never played steam NS, Old school WON NS (until just recently, no more WON!)

If I'm on the alien team and I bitch enough, aliens win.  put teh MC instead of the panzy ass DC and then you actually get a 2nd hive rather than a bunch of reswhores going fade/onos as soon as they can, sure it pisses them off, but it kicks the marine ass

One more thing that is pissing me off... when I play CS and I try to join up a game.. it takes me like 15 minutes to download the security module.. yet last week it took seconds... wtf is goin on?
