I'm not playing much of anything right now. I've occasionally played some NWN 1 and 2. But since my most recent workweek has been over 60 hours, I'm just relaxing and doing some minor stuff on the computer lol.

I haven't been able to find a game that holds my attention as well. So I guess, I'm just in a transition period. :P

Just downloaded Mass Effect 3 for $20.  Gonna get started on that.  Taking a break from Civ5 while waiting for it's next expansion.  Gonna grab AoE 2 HD soon, had a lot of fun with the original way back when.  Jumping into D3 for some mindless action.

Will likely grab Bioshock and Tomb Raider both when they hit the Steam discount bin.  The original Bioshock bored me to tears but I willgive the 3rd one a shot since I hear the story is too good to miss out on.  As for Tomb Raider, well I've tried to get into that series many times over the years but none of them really grabbed me.

Path of Exile and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 both pretty consistently.

Also playing a little Wanted: Weapons of Fate here and there, had a buddy tell me about it years ago, saying it was actually pretty good for being made after a movie, but so far I'm unimpressed. We'll see.

I played the previous tomb raiders aswell but yeah most of them were pretty boring after a bit, the only one I actually finished was Tomb Raider Legend i think.
The new Tomb Raider to be honest I though it was more of the same and that I wasnt going to like it much but its a complete reboot, completely different from the previous ones.
The gameplay was very well done and the new Lara felt more real, as in the weak girl trying to survive.

This is the trailer that won me over for Tomb Raider.

I'm pretty sure I'm incapable of a military victory in Age of Empires II. I literally just gave up on a game because an enemy computer had completed a wonder before me, and I wouldn't be able to clear a path to the wonder before the clock ran out. This is probably why I play healers in other games...

I found that my experience playing WarCraft, StarCraft, and various Command & Conquer games gave me the aggressive mindset to kick AoE ass.

Just got this for my smart phone: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm a huge Simpsons fan (ie all the TV DVDs, the trivia game, animal crackers, and the limited edition Homer-O's cereal) so this is a natural time sink for me. You get to design Springfield from the ground up, after Homer blows it up of course, and it's full of new sound bites and the HD graphics are amazing.

Finally went back and played the final mission on Xcom. Its a bit hard to understand the endgame story as its all voiced over by an alien who sounds like a tracheotomy patient trying to use mouthwash. Was a fun game even though it's kinda short. Looks like they had in mind to make a sequel or at least an expansion for it.

I've actually been revisiting the Thief series lately. I'm a couple missions into the second game. I played it a little bit when I was really young (like before I started playing NWN), so I never really got far into it. It's been fun going back to it.

Been playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 tanks to this older laptop that runs on XP. Mostly I have been playing with the sandbox mode. Started by re-creating Thunder Mountain from Disneyland, Anaheim and it slowly grew into an all western themed park. The area limits of the sandbox are just a bit too small to build all of D-land within reasonable scale.

Try GOG. Since it's not super old, it may be pricier, but wait for it to come on sale. Then you don't have to worry about what version of windows you're on.

I am playing...
Path of mother fucking Exile... bitches! :P

That looks pretty awesome, Cuch! I should dig around and see if I have my copy of RT3 with me still. Might be a good diversion when I'm bored of other things!

Holy crap! There is a Rollercoaster Tycoon 3?!?

Don't know how I missed that. But I recently got 1 and 2 from GOG and I've recommended the game to my friend who wants his kid to play less violent video games.

EDIT: Throbble just reminded me that we own Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 but we decided it was too difficult and stopped playing.

I've been mad, because you can't play it in 1920x1080... And on my monitors if you play it in a smaller format, it leaves huge black bars on the screen and screws with the performance.

Happened the same to me with KOTOR since its old, its max resolution is 1280x1024 but theres a program named Flawless Widescreen that mods it up to 1920x1080, removes the black bars and adjusts the hit boxes to new resolution.

Edit: Just checked the game list in that program but Rollercoaster Tycoon is not in it :o... but maybe theres a similar one around for it.

I tried to edit my post yesterday, but the website went down I think. But I just found a way to edit the config file for the game to make it work with 1920x1080. :D

Nice! Reminds me of the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland.

Been playing Prime World.  It's a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) along the same vein as League of Legends.  I have been bothered by some friends for a while to play it.  Finally jumped in.  There's a high learning curve, but once you get the hang of things it becomes quite a bit of fun.

Table top D&D (4e & 3.5) and Magic Planeswalkers on Steam which I had never played up to three weeks ago and I'm loving it.
Bought a month subscription for WoW but the new skill tree isn't doing anything for me.
Got sick of messing with mods for Skyrim.
Looking for an FPS to get into and I'm revisiting Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Did you try "Wolfenstein"? Came out in 2009. Classic ID FPS with some really amazing graphics. You can get the PC version on Amazon for $52.41 or the Xbox 360 for $29.98.

ID Software's most recent FPS, "Rage", costs $8 on Amazon for the PC version. You can probably guess what my opinion of this game is...

Also, If you don't mind third person shooters you may want to check out "Saints Row: The Third". It's the only game that I've played that made me laugh the entire way through. Very entertaining. And if you like it "Saints Row IV" just came out.

Finally, Throbblefoot has been playing "Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition", because we never got a chance to check out all the DLCs. (Some other game came out that distracted us, I forget which.)

I bought the Id bundle on Steam and was pissed when it wasn't included!

I liked the look of this but I'm fussy. I want less combat options in my FPS.  Point and click will do, not all those gadgets and tripod guns.

Ok, will do.

Thanks.  2012 was crazy. Feels like I'm a year behind
