If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain.
If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.

See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current.
BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN


Experimentation has shown that the two different sides, or hemispheres, of the brain are responsible for different manners of thinking. The following table illustrates the differences between left-brain and right-brain thinking:

 Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained and equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the right-brain ones. Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis, and accuracy. Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity.

How fun, I love optical illusions. She started off going counter clockwise bun then I got the image turning clockwise. I can get it to shift without too much effort now.

Whoa, the first time I looked she was going counter-clockwise. Then when went back to try to make it go the other way it already was!

Looks like my brain kinda randomly switches back and forth from left to right. Sort of the intellectual equivalent of "hot potato".

Edit: OK here is something creepy. When I open the pic in a tab a small version of the animated gif appears in the tab AND in the url line at the top.

The url one is going clockwise, the tab one is going counterclockwise and the large one is going clockwise.

AHHH!!!! *Closes browser.*

I think music actually influences this. Try it out. lol

Edit: Put the pic in two tabs and keep switching between them both.

every time i look at her shadow it switches to counter clockwise for me, i just have a little trouble getting it back to clockwise sometimes

wooohooo I did it, I can change it when I wan't now, I just look at her foot that's touching the ground sometimes and think "Change now" and it happens she then turns clockwise and counter-clockwise, what does this mean now? lol?

EDIT: I can change it to will now whenever i say "Right" she turns clockwise when I say "Left" she turns counter clockwise awesome!

Its exactly what I do, Mercy.

Focus on her feet and think about/visualize the direction u want her to turn. It even helps if I move my head in circles also but the slut always does what I want.

I can pretty much command her now too. I tilt my head a few times while saying "go right" or "go left" and she usually does it after I say it four times.

Anyway I love this and I wonder if you can actually use this to train your brain into using both sides at command.

I looked at it once yesterday, and I couldn't figure out which direction it was going or if it kept switching on me and I couldn't tell. I didn't look at it for long and closed the window, returning to what I was doing. Should do it with a ball that has a diagnal line on it... tweaker material.
