Can anyone recommend a free image editor?

I used to use LView Pro but now it forces you to uninstall it after the trial period.

Just steal a good one like photoshop. I mean, don't steal! Stealing is BAD!

As for a free one, Try the GIMP 2.

I've been using the Gimp 2 program Works pretty well for the project I'm working on.
