StarCraft 2 expansion "Heart of the Swarm" release date was finally announced by Blizzard today.

Release date: 3/12/13

As usual, I won't be getting the "Deluxe Edition" because the in-game goodies you get are crap (as usual).

I played it last night starting at 2 am CST. Stopped playing around 6 am. Lots of fun.

Played it last night until around 1 am. (Had to get up for work at 7 am.) Storyline is interesting so far. Kerrigan seems immensely powerful now with the powers of both a Ghost and the Queen of Blades at her command.

Throbble seems really interested in the "arcade" that features Blizzard flash-type games with names like "StarJeweled". I think I'll let her get the associated achievements for me. As always, I can't wait until I get to the parts of the storyline where I get to try out the new units.
