Dude! Really?

Time to see what Smith Hold looks like in NWN2 I guess!

Alright everyone, here are some examples of playing with scale:

Now this is a succubus!
[attachmentid=935]
(Scale = 5x, Default hair/skin color, custom clothing color)

Now, these next two show a closeup of a normal sized human NPC next to a towering turquoise skeleton (Scale = 10X):

Cool, I'm having fun with this even though I'm stuck rotating my camera around a single point and I've played with scaling a good bit as well as changing location via the properties tabs. I haven't really tinted much though.

Here are three pictures of the opening area of Elessar's House of Stuff mod which I'll put up for a few days after release just for fun. Each picture is different because I'm still deciding which particular building I'm going to use.

All the buildings have been scaled in most of the walls have also been scaled. You can't tell from the camera angle but the ground has been recolorered in front of hte building to show a path way. The entire ground is overall a different color, and I've played with some of the height-mapping as well.

[attachmentid=940]

[attachmentid=939]

[attachmentid=938]

Any preferences between them? Personally I kinda like the first one best.
Oh and by the way, you can still see the model name highlighted in the list on the side.

Try holding down Ctrl and using the right mouse button to move your camera.

Oh and here is a little place I have up in Canada just in case the Republicans get elected again after Bush (notice the balista on the tower):

That just rotates the camera, I mean move like the arrow buttons do in the NWN1 Toolset, the ones circled in the picture

At the request of Bus Driver I give you zombies!

While Bob is trying to figure out if that stench is him or not, can you guess which of the zombies is the most rotten based on color?

Wow, you guys are for more excitable than I.

lol, and just so people stop asking, no I did not download the toolset, no I do not plan to. No, I probably will not be in NWN 2 for awhile as I have a life that needs attending to. Thanks for annoying me! =P

It was a legit question. You do have a faster computer than me, so my free edtion would still take longer to DL everything.

Downloads are mostly based on internet connection, unless you're including installation too, then that would make sense.

I was using GetRight, it took me 14 hours, not a whole day in the end. Whee!

Anyway, i've installed etc but I seem to be missing all the damn creature models...

I'm gonna re-install it after school today to see if I can fix it.

The toolset seems alot more complex than the NWN one; what with all the fancy tinting, sizeing and bumb mapping crap. I don't envy the man who has to write the GS tutorial on how to make equipment for newbs.

Like everything its probably simple once you know what your doing.

It also depends on how fast the Atari servers can dish it out too..

You missed the whole point of using GetRight then. You were supposed to segment each download four times and do them all at once.

Yeah... he was talking about a comparison between the two of you, that fact would remain the same between you two, hence the reasoning behind not needing to point that out. =)
