I've heard of a doubledecker bus but a plane?!

Been in the works for a long time.  A very big gamble on Airbus's part.  Boeings next generation 787 Dreamliner, is a smaller more efficient long distance plane.  If I had to bet, my money is with Boeing in this round.

Personally I'd not feel comfortable flying on it.  Imagine what a giant target that plane would be for a terrorist.

It is really nice. I saw a TV program about the building of it. I wouldn't fly in one either. :unsure:

Is that alot. I'm sorry, I don't keep up in plane capacity news. I'm assuming that's alot.

The average plane would have capacity for 180-200 passengers

The max capacity for the Airbus A380 is 555 passengers, which is about 30 more people that a Boeing 747's max capacity.
