The new IP for GodSpire is 24.200.77.87
You can still find the server under Actions Tab but it will no longer appear in your History until you connect once to the new IP

I see Godspire on Gamespy and the ping was 90. When I click on "Connect" it times out while looking for the server.

Any idea why this happens? Anything I can do about it?

Well if you want to know what I know... shortly after the 30 min. reset, there were some massive laggs, about 30 sec. a peice everyone t in the server experienced them... i've noticed some other strange things too, but I decided to wait it out to see if things got better. They pretty much did and the laggs arent happening any more, I've had alot less crashes... save for a few minutes ago cuz of all the chaos... but LM seems to be a bit strange too... lately the pages sometimes dont load... and grapics are missing and u gotta use show picture to gettem back... it appears I am not the only one having this problem a few others are too, but most ppl I talked to didnt seem to have any issues, so I'm not sure what the situation is there. Save for Ryu's problem... everything seems to be going great with the server.

Just tried to connect and the server has a ping of 141 and it timed out.

Edit: Gamespy seems to be playing up for me, which doesn't help.

I successfully logged on again at roughly 1:15 AM early this morning (June 11), but I had trouble again when I tried right now.

I have a feeling it's Gamespy.

If more players use Direct Connect, the server should have considerably much less lag. This means, however, that you must connect within Gamespy, or connect from your desktop.

I'll post these directions again when I find where I first got them. (Gamespy is much less reliable, though.)

Well, just tried again now after i got back from town and had my tea, it still times out. I can connect to other servers fine, why can't i connect to GodSpire?

Hmm i dunno. You seem to be able to connect to LM just fine. Both LM and GodSpire are hosted on the samer server...try and direct connect to the IP or bluestarnet.com:5121

You can avoid having to update the IP by setting it to bluestarnet.com:5121

I have the same problem. Other servers connect fine but when I try to connect here it times out.

I think it could be Gamespy, since i cannot direct connect using the IP or bluestarnet.com:5121 within Gamespy. Although, i have the same problem as Hell in that sometimes the LM pages won't load.

Edit: Might be relevent, but when i add GodSpire to 'favourites', it appears offline in favourites, yet i can see it in 'Action'.

Funny.. but do you guys use the program Gamespy or in-game gamespy? I always use ingame gamespy and i never have problems.....

I added hubba to my buddy list and joined via him and it WORKED!

Edit: I have sent ruin aswell.

Ya you have a sent rune cuz Xen came in and fixed the problem somehow... Me and Shade did'nt have em either until Mercy came on and gave us a couple. But then Xen came on and tried fixing the problem... when Cletus logged he had one.

Since joing via Hubba's account, GodSpire has now appeared on 'history' and it seems i can join without any problems now.

Pfft... LM is going coocoo on me again... gotta refresh the page like 3 times before it actually comes up... then sometimes it works automatically... or a graphic is missing... gah!
