Seeing as Nem hasn't posted Anythin bout it (either he doesnt want to or he doesnt know, which would really annoy me; and if he does know he hasnt told the other DE members or anyone else cuz he either doesnt want to believe it or doesnt care which would seriously hurt my feelings) I am going to.

I've been having less and less fun on Godspire

. PvP just doesn't suit me anymore. Now I have decided to leave Godspire for good. Also this means I am leaving DE for good. I have already found a new server which I play at with hydros, who also has left Godspire for good. Both of us are having a much better time there even tho we already had a little dispute with a couple of players and been punnished by a DM(it was over as soon as we apologized which took us about two seconds to do). Please don't try to disuade either of us. IT WILL NOT WORK. Angel is enjoying himself! I WILL STILL POST HERE, BUT NOT AS OFTEN!

w00t, words of wisdom bus.. theres notrhing wrong with gs, it's not boring, it's only you who makes it seam boreing to yourself... you could of had fun if you wanted to..or in my case the people there made it not fun

Yeah I always try to make characters that are not superstrong so duels are actually fun. Melisa has a strange talent of making crazy builds that turn out to kick arse =P

Starting , lol? It always have been, gaming itself is pointless. It's very hard to proof somthing has a point in fact

It's about 'fun' for evryone. If you think it's not fun it won't be fun for you, if you make yourself think it's fun you will have fun.
Why think it? Dunno, why you life? It's as pointless as pvp.

(This post is pointles too, I'm telling somthing whitout goal, I want you gone too a other place to make fun as much as I want you back.)

well the server isnt mine so i cant really say yes but i could ask the DMs there if they would like it for you.

True it should go under announcments but it's very related to godspire. thats why i chose to put it here. you can move it if you want.

WOI...that servers been around a while.

RP, PvP...It's all the same thing...Interaction with other people. I've said this before many many times, a server is about it's community. Fancy gagets, fancy rulesets, fancy hak paks are one thing, but if the player community isn't there, say good bye to the server. GS is my home solely because of the players that live there.

BTW Elessar, is anyone going to host/maintain the DE module?

If so, make sure they know I am still available to write scripts if they need any.

well hopefully nem will try to do that, but i dunno if he knows about the script generator i used for some of the scripting cuz im a bit lazy to try to learn to script manually.... i'll get that done sooner or later.... but if he wants me to continue to work on it, i will....

i also think that mo has been to WOI cuz he *is* tryin to get me to come back for good. how else could he know that there isn't alot of "comunity" as he says it lol.... *goes off te think bout mo and his attempt to get me to come back.......*

It looks remarkably like a highly customized Visual C++ language.

I took classes for Visual Basic and Visual C++ and a couple others. Also taught myself SimScript (stupid scripting language) and learned to use a VAX/VMS operating system (which is practically like programming).

While teaching myself "nwnscript" I found that the Visual C++ training came in most handy.

Also, try using Lilac Souls Script Generator to make a bunch of scripts in order to familiarize yourself with the scripting format:

Unfortunatly the scripts it generates have a bunch of useless crap in them, so it's very confusing in the beginning.

The NWN Lexicon is also a great rescource, it contains detailed descriptions for every function (unlike Bioware's Toolset) and shows how that function is used in a sample script:

Can't say i am surprised to hear that. If I had a dollar for everytime someone's said they've quit and come back, I'd be a multi-millionairs
