Like I always say, thank God most criminals are stupid. Or is it most stupid people are criminals. Well, either way, it looks like this "bitchchecker" pulled a Bug Fixx! Maybe they are the same person, the knowlege about computers seem about equal.

You heard it hear first, I quoted the phrase:

"Pulled a Bug Fixx." - When someone who doesn't know anything about computers claims to be a hacker, ultimately screwing themselves over and blaming it on other normal internet uses that they think are also hackers.

Don't be a Bug Fixx... because Bug Fixx needs to Fixx a Bug within himself.

Uhm, 127.0.0.1 is not even technically an IP address.

It is a redirecting address that sends whatever you send to this IP back to yours. Elch didn't know b****checker's IP, he knew the redirecting address.

~Celestial

(RE)EDIT: I looked up 127.0.0.1 and found a lot of posts... 596 or 569 posts, a ton of them were Wobbles' posts.

Wouldn't it just redirect to the proper IP of localhost, or am I missing something?

LOL that was absolutely sad... and I thought I had seen everything in "it's so stupid it's funny" humor.

@420: You sure Bug Fixx is even good enough to hack himself? lol.

No it doesn't Cab.
FYI When that little warning bar gets to 100% all your posts will need moderator approval.

127.0.0.1 is the loopback device. Normally that ip will always point to the machine you type it on. Same for the name 'localhost'. Exept you you change it of course.

Eh?
It's weird that someone, besides the first post on the board, actually has posts under 127.0.0.1
Second, it's weird that you get posts from wobbles... he doesn't has 1 single post under 127.0.0.1

If you run that ip tool again, you still get those 500+ posts?

@Anheg
Only admins and moderators can see it. It's a bit like a remember tool for them. If they increase it they also can do a action with it, like a suspending the acount for a while, or blocking the member from posting. And adding a note why they increased it. They of course can decrease it too.
