FOUNDRY!!

Completed Foundry last night, eerr early this morning, with a pick up group.

E/Me had never been there before and as you can see he had no idea what to do with the gems and for that he got 4 and a green weapon
P/W was not an imbagon but ran Angelic Bond, There's Nothing to Fear and Save Yourselves! with Balad of Restoration.
A/D of course was not a permasin but a scythe sin.
R/Rt had a respectable Splinter/Barrage build
Rt/Mo Spirit spammer that Commented we wouldn't make it pass the second room
Mo/E spammed Heal Party
I went UA
Mo/A was an Assassin's Promise spammer smiter with sin support skill

On previous attempts I had to convince the Paragon to swap his sword and sword attribute points for a spear and to use it.
Only three of us had resurrect skills and at one point 2/3 were dead. Full consumable sets helped a lot.

Very nice. Looks like you need extra storage for those materials...

Oh and I like the new armor Elessar...Finally Ribs no longer has an evil twin.

Elite Templar will probably still be Elessar's primary armor for general play. Evil is just one perspective on it.

Fissure of Woe in 3 hours in Hard Mode!
We also did Tomb of Primeval Kings in about an hour in Hard Mode.
We'll be doing two more event nights a week. We're already doing Dungeons on Thursdays now we'll be doing an elite area, I think on Saturdays, and one night a week a vanquish.

Enelya finally beat Mallyx the Unyielding, so I got to put a new trophy in my hall of monuments. Upgraded dunk's armor and displayed him in my hall, and I got the green strength shield (Mallyx's Courage) from it.

Congrats! We might doing fow or uw Saturday night by the way. Although my internet connection at home seems to be a bit spotty, so I'm not sure how reliable I'd be. We'll see come Saturday.

Thanks! We haven't yet, but I think it's going to happen soonish. Serria, El, Boots and I farmed plains and smites for ectos a few nights ago and Boots mentioned that he needed to do a full clear still.

It's okay. I'm only just getting time to play again because the semester is over. My guild is still alive at least. Usually I'm just poking around for stuff to do. Really I just want to get my hands on GW2 already. They only have one more profession to release, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a mesmer.

Another elite armor: Paragon Monument Armor. Dyed it yellow and silver. Considered adding white to it, but it was a very subtle effect, and white dye is very expensive. I'm planning on getting Sashed Leggings to use with the set instead of the set's actual leg armor.

edit: woops...forgot the picture!

edit: got the sashed leggings now - ended up redying the entire armor white....very expensive.

It's an Oppressor's Shield - one of the rewards from the War in Kryta content that was released about a year ago. It was pretty fun to play through. It comes as just a gold shield with no mods, though, so I had to search for mods for it.

You should play again. I'm on regularly if you want a party. They've recently added more content - a few mini missions to follow up the War in Kryta that are supposed to give an idea of how skills should work together in gw2, and a bunch of new Winds of Change content in Cantha. They also recently completely revamped dervish skills (they created a new mechanic for the profession - flash enchantments), changed the way the survivor title works, and made it possible to get Defender of Ascalon without death leveling. They also showed us what rewards we can get through the HoM if you haven't seen it.

Maybe I'll show up...I'm in the middle of a move so it won't be in a week or so...how did they change Survivor?

The title is not lost if you die, but you start over counting experience. So if you get halfway there and die, as long as you gain 140,600 experience before dying again, you can still get level 1, so on and so forth. My monk actually got survivor tier 1 unexpectedly after we had gone through most of the underworld one night.
