Ok people, I got sick of waiting for bioware to do it and seeing as though I couldent find it anywhere I decided to make this lil pack on my luch break at work and stick it on a floppy lol.

So without further adu I give you:

This is a Zip Achive so you will need WinRar or somthing to unpack it.

I'm guessing since it's an overide I put the individual files into the override file in my NWN folder.

*waits for the game to crash*

Aye, Just extract it and place all the files in the folder into your Overide folder.

It's the animation fix isn't it? It's a must have to play nwn. Just like the nocd file, on linux the cd isn't needed, so why would it be needed on windows.

has nothing to do with platinum. i have it and i hardly crash at all. its either your system or the server.

nar the crashes are due to hou/sou......crashing on plain ole nwn is very rare

I never had any real problems with nwn. (not at all in oc/sou) Only on godspire it seems different.

This probably is because trueseeing isn't enabled (crashes caused by poeple comming out of stealth), the frog that is disabled (you see more, more can get you crashed), and the somewhat high amount of players with all their visual effects (hellball for example) in one single area.

It's a lucky discovery that setting the animation of the characters back like they were in pre-hotu helps against the crashes. And the amount of crashes on GodSpire probably will go down if the visual of hellball gets changed to something more nwclient-friendly.

For sure if you have a randomer running around that does nothing else than firing that spell while (ab)using the healinglights evry few seconds.

The crashes are due to compatability errors. seeing as though GodSpire uses much more scripts than your average server it is more prone to crashes, Scripts take up about 3 Quarters of GodSpire's entire mass.

All these overides do is remove some animations in favor of there SoU incarnations and fix up a few errors, Oh yeah and the portraits and soundsets not that they matter that much.

Crashes should be either none existant or In very short supply using these but it does take a while to get used to the anims again

I use a custom animations pak so the fighting looks better and i havent crashed since.

Whatever the reason for the crashes they aren't happening any more. 2 days clean and crash free!

I took it back off, because it was jumpy as heck, but I can sacrifice myself to a few crashes, bah. But for some reason after I took it off, I still did'nt crash, (except once, same as with it on) Perhaps it was less laggy this weekend? Who knows.

Than you should learn how to dld, If its stalling odds are invision doesnt support multiple connections.

Just use the Defult windows dowload manager. if it still fucks up than complain to Nathan

i never use download accelerators (if that's what you mean)

-manage to snag it at school on the second try (which makes a total of 3 tries...hehe third times the charm i guess
