There is some new Rune going around to certain Sentinals on Godspire. Tolar tried to explain it to me but im confused. It gives you this green animation and you can shift into this wolf form and allows you to boot people. At first i thought it had something to do with DMG because Lance was the first person i saw with it but it doesnt. It also has nothing to do with being a Vanguard of TSoGS. Then I heard it was called a Guardian Rune. So being a Sent is just another name for being a Guardian but only certain Sents get it? Someone please try and explain it.

So far only the Vanguards have it. Except they're not called Vanguards anymore. If you've noticed, they're called Guardians. If you read from another post, Xen said he'd start Ãƒ???mG over and clear the roster. From what Lance told me, Ãƒ???mG are now the Guardians. So I hope that explains why certain members have the Guardian Rune and why some don't. And if I'm wrong about this, all my ideas were based on assumptions.

P.S. If you see me with a Ãƒ???mÃƒ??? tag, it's just something Lance told me to do so I don't have to shorten my name

HAH, so Xen is trying to replace TSoGS? Or only DMG/Sents get them? If either of those are correct that isnt right. + Tolar and Nemesis have them and they are not in DMG.

I think there's some confusion going on. At first Xen wanted it to be DmG but now I hear from Mo that it's the Vanguards...

Whats to be confused about?

One day Xen came to me with the idea to transform them to guardians. I said "Well i dunno, it might piss him off?"
Xen didn't pay too much mind about him so he started to implement the new mod plans.
After about 3 weeks he said the heck with this, DmG needs a make over. But I said "DmG smells like goat cheese on a rainy day".

Guardians:

The guardians are not taking over the sentinels, They are simply a higher rank to be obtained.

For example; You start as a player, If you play your cards right you move to Sentinel. Later after preforming your dutys as a sentinel well you are given the honerary rank of 'Vanguard'. This is a Guardian in training, They will be watched carefully unlike other sentinels. And on ocasion given the guardian rune for trial periods untill if they preform well finaly ern the rank of Guardian, Which is the highest rank among players.

They are DmG, however DmG is now oficialy a guild lance if I remember is forming a Aprentice guild of DmG known as DM (Dragon Monark)..

Vanguards ARE Guardians. They've just changed the title. =P

It doesn't have anything to do with DmG, I don't think...

It still shouldnt have anything to do with DMG or...DM.

DmG Is no longer a clan/guild/whatever I dispanded them.

Guardians are as close to a god as you we become without being given the mark 'Dungeon Master', They are the right hand of the DM's. Think of it like this:

Sentinels are the royal soldiers of GodSpire, Vanguards are like Generals of GodSpires army. Guardians (DmG) are the emporers of GodSpire the leaders. But even leaders bow to gods thats where DM's come in.

Guardian - n. 1. One that guards.

Shouldn't "Vanguard" be a higher rank that "Guardian"? Like Dragon Monarch Guardians are lead by the Dragon Monarch Vanguard?

DM is not a possible position "up the ladder" so to speak.

DMs are chosen for special reasons unique to the individual.

#1 Reason is always "Would this DM benefit GodSpire"

I'm not gonna start justifying all the DMs.

They all have different qualities some more apparent than others.
