I was thinking about taking a break from NwN and start playing Medal of Honor instead. I just wanna try to play a 1st person shooter again, it was so long ago  :lol:

Try "America's Army" or "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory".

Both are excelent multiplayer, objective based FPSs with the ability to gain experience and ranks.

Best of all, both are free to download and play!

Best free games ever made.

Uru: Ages Beyond Myst and it's two expansions are great (ground breaking even), but since Boo is looking for a quick action FPS game I seriously doubt he would enjoy hours of reading journals and mindbending puzzles --  my friends in RL can't stand Adventure games, much less tolerate them. Specifically, all they play is NWN and Action/FPS genre games.

If you haven't already, check out Battlefield 1942. While I don't consider myself the least bit knowledgeable on First Person Shooters, this game is all I hear about from my friends.

I'm getting a lot of fps news, but I'm more of a rp player :P

Joint operations: typhoon rising, Kreed, Rapid gunner, Silent storm: sentinels and look out for Full spectrum warrior (game for training US soldiers, but not out yet), brothers in arms, battlefield 2, Far Cry: instincst, S�??�?�¶ldner, Ghost Recon 2, Stalker, Counter Strike Source (on the HL2 source engine) and splinter cell 3 (not quite an all the way fps)

There are a lot of upcoming fps games and just picking up a pc mag u'll get to know some of them.

never ever will I play games like that, I hated painkiller and the only way I'm ever going to play doom 3 is when I get it from my friends (for free).
