Mel said that we need to wait for Nathan to get back to decide what to do with Random Ranting. Until then, what does the community think? Should we keep the old posts or not? By deleting them, that would free up space, and things would run a bit smoother, but by keeping them, you can look at some old things you want to see, or perhaps maybe you just want to keep the topics from the Game Subforums or whatnot? Answer in the poll what you think.

Personally, I say let them all go, and get a fresh start. Know what I mean? Alot was spam anyway.

I did edit the last option a bit, it wasn't too clear if it was for or against the old topic/posts. And the poll is going in a different way than I expected. Interesting.

Here are reasons, for you to vote one way or another:

1) Less topics in RR means more speed, LM could run faster and smoother and I/us (being the admins) won't be so frustrated with spam, and more members might come back.
2) The more topics in RR means you can look at them, but I'll still stay strict on spam and we (being the admins) can look back at the topics and use them for purposes on warning a member.

Choose your fate!

The RR topics could never be used, unless for judging for warning a member.
I'm pretty startled that more are saying get rid of them... Wow.

Mel, can you change my member title to "Spam Hunter"? I really like the sound of that...

Because the nice 6 for, 6 against, I just enbaled random ranting like it was before. The poll will stay open too.

Moving to destinyawakening is a option too, but then someone has to do a load of work to move them, it's a other type of board there.

I do mind. Second, a converter for ipb2.0 to phpbb2.0.11 doesn't exist. Maybe there will be for phpbb3 when it's out and one or the other devloper makes one, nothing for the near future. Anyway, that would mean you'll have to convert it manualy or write a load of scripts to do it for you. Either way, you'll be busy for days(weeks) with those +400 topics and +5000 posts. (1 minute a query would make 100 hours work)

Besides, not all poeple want the random ranting posts gone to destineysawakening. The few usefull post in here would disappear between the pointless mass spam there (200 post spam in a few days by just 6 poeple). The poll here still goes fifty-fifty, so the thing stay where they're. The more strict rules will do the rest.
