I recently started playing Sacred again and once again, it kicks ass! you have 6 classes:
- Gladiator
- Dark Elf
- Seraphim
- Wood Elf
- Battle Mage
- Vampiress

The game contains over 30 main quests and over 200 subquest in a world thats REALLY big, if you want to see the map, click here.

About the items i can be short: there are ALOT of them, alot more then Diablo 2 and the good thing is you can already have a good item set at lvl 20 :). And just like Diablo, there are normal/rare/exceptional/uniques and Set items.

The items for classes are various, for example: a Gladiator can wear Shoulder Pads but can only wear 1 amulet, a Wood Elf can't wear Shoulder Pads but can wear 3 amulets! and that difference goes for all classes (Seraphim wears wings instead of armor for example).

Monsters are countless in Sacred, from Blood thirsty orcs  to Mystical Ice Elfs, and from Undead Goblins to Mystical Dragons.

Every Class has its own Powers and skills, but thats to much to explain, just check the site (Sacred Site).

Also there is a unique future in Sacred you hardly see in a RPG: Horse Riding, you can buy horses in towns or find horses who lost their owner, there are different types of horses, one horse is faster, and the other has more defense. In shops or monster drops you can find different types of saddles with different types of bonusses.

The looks of Sacred are ok, if you mind the pixels of the stones/trees etc. when you zoom in. I also noticed a thing i like in RPG's: you can see every item you wear! :D. from belts to gloves and even amulets you can see equiped on your char!.

Well, i hope i gave enough information about Sacred with this. Oh, and before i forget, a Plus pack has been released for free download at the Sacred website, witch contains 2 new regions, new landscapes, monsters and new items!

i dont like games such as this which say Wood Elf (etc) is a class - eh??? what if hes a wood elf battle mage eh eh eh ?? :P

The game was fun for a while, but since I played mage and noticed how badly everyone else could own me when we played pvp it got quite irritating >.<
but it's fun tho.

here's my mage dunno the lvl, but I run faster then the fastest of horses and my chain lightning which jumps 8 times does 340 dmg

btw you cant go wood elf battle mage, it's set so if your wood elf, you an archer and such. You don't chose race then class, it's all in one pick.

its for pc but i dont know if they have an xbox version. i dont think so.

i bet it costs as much as a top line rpg game. so erm about USD 30?

i tried sacred. Although everything hubba said is true, I did not like it because the animation and responsivenes sof the characters were not better than D2. In fact, they are even more jerky.

At least in nwn, there is some degree of  smooth feedback when hitting or getting hit. I might be mistaken but I also felt that there were only 8 directions to move in sacred.
im agfter an rpger with more fluid animatin eg: ff7 or.... YEAH PHANSTASY STAR ONLINE! yeah pso has great animatin & music but i dontlike the game overall much.

Its PC only, and cost 24 euro, that includes the full game + Plus Pack.

@ Gashmo, You are right about the animation but the music and voice's of the characters and NPC's/enemies are quite good, and the game is every addictive!

I thought that going down to the lava area on the map would be fun so I got a ton of lvls there

I played the game too was a vampire woman quite cool to be a vampire there when things get hard you can turn yourself into a vampire and hack and slash the people there up its fun but not realistic like in the desserts where the sun is high in the sky you can turn to a vampire?? :glare:  but it's a good game btw i saw here in Game Mania the game for 10?

also what a good game is is divine divinity and beyond divinity anyone played it?

I played mp with my brother and he was a vamp. Fucking buggy cuz he couldn't die and did extreme dmg ran hella fast and during daytime nothing happened while in vamp form lol. seriously, he couldn't die
