Love or hate xmas?
« on: December 24, 2004, 07:46:06 AM »
I don't like xmas much. Meet people i dont want to meet. Who remind me of thingsI dont want to be reminded of. Having to eat stuff I dont want to eat. Having to consider if I need to buy presents. Sometimes I even get phone calls, which is really inconvenient. In the last few years I have managed to discourage this. I hate the weather at xmas. Either too hot or too cold. I get beggars at the gate, they chase my chauffeur, they tap on my limo glass, the paw my estee lauder mink - yeah xmas is a yuck thing.

god you mustn't be a family guy at all are you? kindly ask the beggars to leave or actually give them something like a blanket or some food, but never money because they might not know what the best thing to buy with it is.

anyway its not about any of that that makes Christmas special. It's the celebration of the birth of baby Jesus, and how he came into the world. well thats what it is supposed to be for people of catholic or relating faiths(excluding the Jewish faith of course)

of course other people can celebrate it for the presents and for family, but that's them.

PS: To all Catholics who post here, remember the Christmas is a Holy Day of Obligation, so you must go to church to celebrate mass! (Don't really mind that, its just me nagging)

Christmas sucks. I have to leave my house for shitty gifts a hundred miles away from me.
I like to chew on things.

I like the gathering of family and food but I can do without the commercial bullsquat and blowing money on material items is a moral issue for me.  Oh then there's the fact that I'm not religious and Christmas being a religious holiday.  Including Christians using pagan practices in there religious ceremonies is a little screwy.

Otherwise it's really trippy driving around looking at people's Christmas decorations.  @.@

Christmas is great. I love sitting at the table eating really good food untill I have to unbuckle my belt lol. gifts are ofcourse getting a bit lamer every year since ppl can't buy something I like because I'm no longer a child, but usually it's ok. All my gifts were liked a lot, brother has been on the Xbox forever playing to finish Halo 2 :D

the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoyce.
But still,
the place you live in is that more drab an empty that they're gone.
I guess I just miss my friend."
