Hey Mo I've changed my mind about the webhosting. Sorry if you acted on that already.  I've thought about having to renter all that information since you can't cut and paste to and from Word and Geocities Pagebuilder.
If anyone does know a way I'd love to hear!

Just get access to the files and copy them.

incoming mail server (pop3): lucidmagic.net
outgoing mail server (smtp): lucidmagic.net --> IMPORTANT in advanced tab please set the outgoing mail server PORT to 26.  This must be done or no connection will be made.

After that log in with your account name, which is the email address you choose minus the @lucidmagic.net.  Also please use those same credentials to authenticate to the outgoing (smtp) mail server.  DO NOT use SSL (secure password authentication).

If you have any problems with any of this please let me know.
Also you have no passwords setup so please PM me your desired password and I will enter it in.

For the rest of you sit tight I'll try and get accounts set up for you.  I'm having a wee problem in that the evaluation version of my server let's me have max 5 users lol.  I'll get that fixed pronto.

Obviously we can't have spaces in email addresses.  Right now it's jownsyou.  I think I may have made a typo some where.

Alright, since setting up the lucidmagic email, every once in awhile my browser/internet connection stops responding because I get some sort of shitty little pop-up. Until I cancel it my internet connection is completely frozen.

What in the FUCK in Bill Gates doing to my computer?

But I'm not even using the email program, it just sort of pops up at random times while I'm using my browser.

I believe that is part of the Outlook Express option to be your main "E-mail service provider" which is often concurrent with your "Internet Service Provider." For instance, my father has an e-mail @acs.net which is from our internet service provider. He can use outlook express for it, but he chooses to use Incredimail.

I could be wrong, but I think that's what it is. When I set up the e-mail on Outlook Express, it prompted me to make it the main e-mail handler dealie, I said no.

I'm still having this problem. It seems that every time I come to the lucidmagic web site now, if I only stay for a few seconds (say to check for new posts) then leave, a few seconds later my internet connection freezes up and that fucking pop-up appears and I'm forced to cancel in order to unfreeze my internet. I'm going to start deleting everything related to Outlook and Firefox if this shit keeps happening.

Check your network connections folder, make sure there isn't some funky ass shit in there. Also, in outlook, check your settings, you probably have some shit turned on or something that you shouldn't, and it might be trying to use lucidmagic.net as your ISP's e-mail service or some shit.

Just got this error while checking email:

Makes sense.  I had to bring the server down.  Not enough people were using the email service to warrant the hardware usage.  I plan to bring it back up under better circumstances.

On the bright side you don't need to use Outlook anymore.
