Guildwars very popular!!!

LoL I went to a store yesterday called Game Mania (a popular game store for every console in Belgium) and I asked for Guildwars.
They got it on 28th of April 20 copies of the game and they all got sold within 5 houres!!
then I asked when you will have more copies again?
the store tells me it should come wendsday 4/5/2005 we asked for 25 copies but the supplier got also sold out  so if he get's the games by then we should have it wendsday and of the 25 copies 3 copies are reserved!!!!
I mean i knew the game was popular but that popular??? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

I'm not surprised by this, since this game is basically Diablo 3. When D2 came out it sold so many copies that it actually changed industry standards for computer games sales.

There were so many players that not only did we bring battle.net down more than once, San Francisco players crashed our local broadband internet provider the day D2 was released! HA, take THAT SBC!

EDIT: Oh and that store needs to wake up, the 20 copies were probably all taken home by the staff. Comp USA has an ENTIRE WALL dedicated to Guild Wars boxes.

funny, there were still plenty of copies of guildwars when i went to pick mine up late in the day thursday, maybe they have a lot more in the back and were restockin it every now and then and i'd arrived after they'd restocked....
