didn't go into donig stuff about khad's book, but I checked Brior's and it's mostly just explaining what is also said in nwn manual.
The stuff that's important for new players to learn is how skills affect their char, +50skill on items is max, tumble doesn't give ac when it isn't base, has to be chosen while lvling. AC types, dmg types, ability points - where do they all go and why. 20 dex will give an extra 5ab for a dexer, 21 gives no extra bonus, but it increases by one every even number.
AB increasement for each class and what ab should be to hit another player. 1d20 based game! AB is in char sheet +1d20 also on skill rolls.
What applies to AC.
After explaining this a new player can learn how to play, giving away a build to a person who doesn't understand why they aren't hitting with 50ab won't help. There are certain things these ppl need to learn and that's the basics.
