Well what I meant was vs. a melee build, in which case it's likely you wont have a dispell, especially in lvl 20 builds.

you have to think about the majority of the ppl.

That'd be me. =)
But I'm a monk, and TS normally does'nt help my opponents against me unless they're a monk. (I don't duel monks. =P Also hiders with TS arent a problem for me either).

ED is cheap well its bugged thats why its cheap and thats why dm put a big flag on ppl who take that feat

i never quite understood why everyone says ED is bugged? is it because u dodge the first successful hit? why is that bugged? i mean if that's true then Elemental, Death Armor, and Acid sheath are bugged cause they only damage on a successful hit :P

do explain, i am curious to know

um...but that's stupid, the rolls made to actually hit you cause u to "dodge" most (unless you have crappy ac :P ) and if it was bugged...don't u think others would complain about it on the Bio-Forums? i've fought ppl with ED (lol...we gotta not use that) and they've still ended up limp...i mean whiped

Says right here in the manual:

Epic Dodge
The character avoids all damage from the first attack each round.

Ya, same here, ED is'nt bugged. Also about the last thing I said, I did'nt hear that anywhere, I know that because I've experienced it, TS rarely helps my opponents defeat me, hider or not.

Epic dodge is bugged, and it is simple.

It is supposed to dodge the first attack, successful or not, of the round. It's supposed to only give you the advantage of passing the first attack incase they would hit you without it.

Well, BioWare may have meant it to do that, but however...

In the description (manual + game) it says first attack of round, successful or not.

It only dodges the first successful, which would be useful in PvM, it is not balanced for PvP.

Actually I should'nt really be talking, I just heard from a good source that it was'nt. But, I should'nt say much on it, because I don't even have the expansions, so I don't see the descriptions, or have that manual and so forth. I'm sure it's as simple as calling tech support, or looking for evidence supporting one theory or the other. =P That almost sounded scientific... science rocks!

Epic Dodge is not bugged, but it is unbalanced for pvp. It is how Bioware described epic dodge in the manual that is not correct. According to the epic handbook for D&D, epic dodge should allow a person to basically (once per round) dodge the damage from a successful attack. I don't have the handbook to hand but I can quote it later whenever you see me on GodSpire. If you consider all the feats and skills required to get epic dodge: dex 25+, hide 30, tumble 30, improved evasion, defensive roll, dodge etc, and consider what each of these feats allows you to do, then the fact that you can avoid damage is not unrealistic. So for once Bioware actually coded something correctly, they just messed up the description. Whether or not they got it right is irrelevant. Assuming you are not fighting a noob, where even ed can't save them, ed is extremely unbalanced for pvp. It is flagged for this reason.
