So I just reinstalled BG2 (and holding off on ToB because of the annoying copy glitch) and thought we (or at least Mo and I) should try some online BG2.
I'm not really sure how it works because I've never tried before, but it sounds like a fun idea.

You have to go to the server's website and see what download client they use, like Worldgate, etc. The client downloads all of the files needed, .pwc, .hak and others. That is why you can't join.Ok, good tip. and how was I supposed to know? You could join any NWN1 server if you had the CEP and whatnot, I didnt know anything changed.
But it didnt really matter, as all 3 of the servers I tryed suck balls hardcore. Omg it made me want to reinstall NWN1 and go run around LoC. It looks like any NWN2 multiplayer I participate in will revolve around stuff LM people put up.

What's crazy is that I cant join any multiplayer games! I apparently dont have some pack that everyone else has. For the 10 that I tryed to join I got: Missing Soh.tlk, Missing [Big List] HAK File, Missing Frontier.tlk, Missing NWNWarhammer.hak.
Anyone know what I am missing? Google hasnt helped a bit.

I noticed the official page for the expansion and it says it was developed by Occian Studios. Does that mean Obsidian is done?
The advertisement was right next to MotB and SoZ like it would be a real expansion, but the more I read it sounds like its DLC.

Right clicking does not do anything. The only thing that happens is a pic of whatever I clicked on appears in the upper middle of the screen.

Sometimes my NPCs move on their own and break down a door with their weapons. I can not figure out how to make my player character do that.
Obsidian made a big deal out of their "context sensitive" menus but all it did was limit your ability to interact with your surroundings.

What is really annoying is that I cant figure out how to pull up the task list in NWN2. Like I thought it just didnt exist because I looked in the hotkeys and there wasnt one, but while I was playing my fingers slipped and I somehow opened it. Does anyone know how?
Like I cant force chests and doors with strength because I see no attack command, I only have the icon that appears over enemys. I have to keep a rogue in my party because I cant just attack locked things but I see familiars doing it and I can hit stuff with flamestrike to destroy them.

From all the reviews I read, this expansion isnt worth buying, not to mention actually patching.
One thing that pisses me off is that I went out to buy Mask of the Betrayer today and places dont have it. Its only NWN 2 Gold (Original and Mask) for $40 and SoZ for $30. Im not rebuying the original game to get the exp., fuck them.
