He's a nub.  Vandalism is rare and fixed rather quickly.  That Star Trek link shows no signs of the vandalism.

Bot and script attacks are a common worry among all Internet sites.  Wikipedia will be well protected against such threats.  Anyway there's never been a case that an Internet site has been forced to close because of malicious attacks.  Wikipedia won't set the precedent.

Google is launching a competing product called Knol.

Huh? Did you read a different article than I did Mo?

Anyway, I think Wikigroaning is a great idea. Unfortunately, most of the nerdy topics I come up with are so obscure that the topic often doesn't even exist on Wikipedia.

I read the 2nd link and skimmed the 1st.  Nub was relating to the guy who made the bet.  And in the 1st link there was a excerpt of a wiki Star Trek article

"The entire Enterprise crew turned into animals once, but thankfully a pregnant cat saved the day."

As though that was sentence was in the article, however it's not.

Just as I was talking about vandalism here's a bit from Britney Spear's article:

"Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American pop music singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, author and is known world-round as being batshit insane"

hehe anyway it won't last there long.  However she is crazy.

Chard!
