Soul Sojourner's Writing
« on: March 29, 2007, 09:32:47 AM »
That's right, I may post some of my poetry or possibly other writing in this thread. I know I had submitted some books in the past with my poetry and a story in one, in the GodSpire Library. Don't recall all of the ones that I did though.

How often I will add some, I don't know. Most of my poetry that I post, which is still not all of it, is at RoD in my writing thread there. However, we have guest viewing off, so posting a link would defeat the purpose. Instead, I may just post some from time to time, but I doubt it will be as full and updated as the one on RoD. If you do want a link, just ask. That is, if you're willing to go through the effort of whipping up an account just to view it. Which isn't hard I guess, lol.

Bah, anyway. Enough of my mindless ranting. The first one I'll post is the one I wrote last night. It's sort of a twist between a rap and a poem, even though I was writing it as a poem. It's also the only poem that I've ever swore in.

Violent Crimes

See how much it matters,
When the blood splatters,
All over the wall,
Transfixed in dubious gall,
Grab a bat, an axe, a chainsaw,
And tear the fucking shit out of the bodies in the hall,
Vengeance, rage, bloody days,
Shooting out blood in sprays,
Mysterious haze of rage,
Spraying blood in furious waves,
Do you see how much it matters?
See how the bodies are battered?
Left plastered and scattered,
Beaten and tattered...
No fucking conscience,
No empathy,
Killing efficiently,
Fuck sympathy.
Breathing their last, bleeding too fast,
Beat them until it's passed, and continue to laugh,
Just listen now,
Listen to the screaming all around,
Listen as the bodies fall down,
Listen to the hearts beating for the last time,
Listen to my symphony, my poetry, my rhymes,
Listen...
Listen to these violent crimes.

All my poems are about 8-foot-tall smurfs and those weird faces that I constantly see overlaying everything.

Desolate

Roses red, from blood they shed, field of bodies, all lie dead.
Killing spree, raging free, the walking dead, laugh gleefully.
Brimstone and bile, corpses pile, as they do, I play for a while.
Grim confessions, dreaded sessions, learning slowly, in secret sections.
Flaming hands, destructive demands, screaming people, throughout the lands.
The Bell's lore, the raven's soar, tides shifting, forever more.
Reaching HeLL, by the Bell, they start to scream, they start to yell.
Sharper blades, malevolent raids, the deck of cards, the four of spades.
Pitch-black, a quick attack, they do not see, the doom is back.
Darkened stone, all alone, fearful of, the great unknown.
Dusty tomb, filled with gloom, the darkest parts, bring us doom.
Dug-up grave, undead slave, bound by darkness, bound by rage.
What was great, they changed too late, forced to die, in twisted fate.
The blood drips, off my lips, as I listen, the record skips.
The song plays, with delays, blissfulness, it betrays.
I say it's done, still they run, they cannot see, there is no sun.
Midnight vow, blinded now, will they see, they don't know how.
Rhythm and rhyme, destruction and crime, it's all done well, within good time.
And with these claws, despite the laws, I tear it down, by all it's flaws.

I went to one before, he told me I was smart, and that was about it.
I was the one to prompt him about APD (Anti-Social Personality Disorder) since I scored very high for possible diagnosis of a Psychopath or Sociopath, but I lacked the main characteristic of them both, and that was a lack of empathy. So therefore, I was not one, and am completely normal.

Well, 420% normal anyway.

The Blight

The dark chilled night, the venomous blight, no mans land, and no mans fright.

The darkness stayed, the light shall fade, the music stops, the serenade.

Burning desire, green flamed fire, demons roam, and never tire.

Poisons hate, a rivals fate, to die amongst, this horrid place.

The wind swept tome, the dim lit room, a fiery grave, for a bride and groom.

The chaos sleeping, their mothers weeping, from sorrow filled, the doom is creeping.

An evil land, with venomous sand, the bell does toll, at death's demand.

The golden ring, the venomous sting, lies as such, upon the king.

All their pain, fiery rain, the anger and hate, drives them insane.

The dreadful cradle, the blood filled ladle, servants of blight, their bites are fatal.

Darkness around, never a sound, the blights great hatred, that all have found.

Just goes to show that in a world full of morons the smart people are all sent to shrinks to find out "what's wrong with them".

Psychologist: "Well, you have a serious disease: You are an intelligent person stuck on a mud-ball packed with angry, stupid monkeys. Good luck with that. That will be $1000."

That only makes taking a shit hurt. Which really sucks, mind you. There are times where my shit is just fucking huge... simply gigantic. Well, actually, my shit is usually gigantic all the time, but it doesn't usually hurt, so I sincerely doubt lack of fiber with what and how much I eat...

Anyway though, enough about my shit.

Unending Rage

Fuming out, flaming fire, burning shouts, pain's desire.
Over time, no more please, more to rhyme, hatred bleeds.
Please help me, run away, set me free, or make me prey.
Are you blind, why we live, come and find, I am pensive.
Misery, all around, so I see, no more ground.
Happy days, once more gone, destruction lays, no more dawn.
Of the tides, in the dark, law abides, I now embark.
Sojourner, single title, lonely roamer, sitting idle.
Blissful angel, helping now, little able, asking how.
With the light, darkened still, rage full nights, wants to kill.
Past of fury, never bliss, wants to bury, such remiss.
Further pain, every day, bloody stains, I must repay.
Do not judge, it's for fools, hold no grudge, mercy rules.
Your lecture stops, look in my eyes, frozen teardrops, one man cries.
Imprisoned sage, I need be free, cage of rage, just for me.
And in this hell, they must be blind, to my bell, and to my mind.

Jenna

It's by my covenant with you that you see through,
No other would be allowed to see the way you do,
Best we refuse their names, and dismiss claims,
For long our bliss dost nourish the flames,
In times of insecurity, misery, and instability,
And when sickly, I do decree,
My vast degree of care for thee,
Upon our lives our love is fixed,
Letting none get betwixt us two in this,
We're weirdly seen, like this rhythm has been,
And by my heart, you know what I mean,
Wonderful times, expressed through these rhymes,
Sounds of bliss, from our resonating chimes,
If things seem bleak, and you're feeling weak,
Know that I love you, and that you're unique,
Don't be bothered today, by what people may say,
For soon one day, we'll be together to stay.

To my dearest love, Jenna.

This one is to my gf, I wrote it in December. ^^

And if you're curious how I pick the colors for the text, I'm simply using the same colors as on RoD, however, I picked them there by what I felt suited them. So sorry if they some are difficult to read, I often can't find a color to better suite the poem than the ones I've already chosen, and RoD is a dark board. =)

This is a shakespearian style sonnet that I wrote a long ass time ago.

Delirious

The darkened hatred fills their souls with dread,
The bell continues ringing as they come,
Theyâ??re not among the living; they're undead,
The dreadful blight is where they have come from.

With rage they wreak havoc on many souls,
Malevolent powers that they've brought forth,
Destroying many lives when the bell tolls,
The delirious day is on the fourth.

The number four reflects all their torment,
Instilling vengeance and hatred in all,
The living gave them nothing but repent,
Brought forth their rage when beckoned will not fall,

Within their deliriousness it's dark,
Like sojourners of souls they shall embark.
