What system specs. do you currently have?
« on: August 10, 2004, 03:48:19 PM »
Uh, a wee bit misleading title, but I could not come up with anything more appropriate at the current time. As maybe indicated though, I have felt a poke of curiosity, and thus would like to know what system you are currently using to play games, not NWN in particular, with. This is not meant as a Ã????MY computer is bigger and more badass than yours!Ã???? thread, so, please, keep objective.

I think the things of relevancy here are; CPU (Central processing unit), Graphic's card, RAM (Random Access Memory) {amount, type and manifacturer should do...) Motherboard, sound card and anything I might have forgotten of any relevance.

Nicely listed, it should look a bit like this:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4, at 2,68 ghz.
Graphic's Card: PNY Nvidia Geforce 6 6800 Ultra, 256 mb.
Motherboard: SiS (Sillicon Integrated Systems) SiS645
RAM: 512 mb. Corsair Value PC2700, and 512 mb PC2700 noname memory... (Suprisingly, there IS no name on the block...)
Sound Card: Onboard on Motherboard (Realtek AC97 audio)
Other: Alright, I forgot the Harddisk... A 80 GB SATA150 Maxtor HD, with Fluid bearing motors...

I hope I woun't get flamed for this...

Wow you have a 6800 Ultra, right now I have a P3 from dell but I'm going to buy some new parts in a week, I'll just say the current  one:

This is the Dell I'm currently using:

CPU: Pentium 3 1 ghrz
Video Card: GeForce 2 MX 400
Motherboard: I think Intel or Dell made it, i'm not sure
RAM: 256 mb (not sure who made it)
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live

Does anyone know where I can buy a 6800 GT?

Hey Chichiri, I'd upgrade your video card, sell the 9100 and buy a 9600XT or better.

@Who the man:

My computer has been upgraded from a fabric made one (By a danish company called MyCom). The newest addition is a papst 92x92 fan, mounted just above my graphic's card. In case your intersted, I'm currently pondering wether to buy a new case, or upgrade to a faster HDD, as my old one is slowly leaking behind. Due to poor formating  and defragmentation. (Damn FAT file systems...)

A technicality, of course, but no one wears *trousers* around here. Much to the amusement of our friends across the pond, Americans only wear pants.

Uderwear, undies, panties, skivvies, shorts, (the dreaded) tighty whities....

(And yes, "shorts" can also be the American equivalent of "short trousers." We're silly that way.)
