Right now NWN2 is a half-finished product. Atari forced Obsidian to release the game before they finished the DM Client, stand alone server and much of the scripting language. Almost every bug that existed when NWN was released (monk AC bonus with shields/armor for instance) also exists in NWN2 and they are slowly fixing them through patches.

For instance, patch 1.04 gave us the the "v" emote menu (the one that always existed in NWN) and 1.05 will make it so your information/chat windows don't clear themselves when you area transition.

In my opinion, Obsidian drove off all the potential NWN fans and the only people still interested in NWN2 are the hard-core mod builders who have been making adventures since the Forgotten Realms: Unlimited Adventures game (or, if they are like me, since the Adventure Construction Set).

I bought it as soon as it came out and my compie can't even read it. The box is now closed and it won't be opened for a long time unless you guys force me with angry green trolls.

I decided to wait to buy it, until the price dropped, until various fixes and patches were made, and until GS2 came out.

I am glad I decided to wait. Go me.

I recall only Mo, Bus, and 420 ever regularly being on pure strength fighters (although Mercy did sometimes, he was a bit too fond of hiders)
My PS3 Game Library:
Call of Duty 4, Guitar Hero 3, Mirrors Edge, Motor Storm, Resistance 2, Rock Band 2, Soul Calibur 4, Valkyria Chronicles

I had a couple str fighters, but rarely used them. And they were more of joke characters anyhow.

In the pre-expansion days on GS a player named Cannon Fodder and I made our first strength fighters together. Also, Cuchulann has a strength fighter named Hummus McHaggis.

Why doesnt someone just write a seperate program to serve pwcs to a seperate client when you initiate a connection to a server?
Seems trivial to me.

What I wonder is why they don't just make the client download the walkmesh the first time it logs into a new server then just check for changes to the walkmesh for subsequent logins.

Their 1.05 solution is to let you create a clickable link to a url that will open up player's default browser to the location of your pwc file. Considering the half-assed solutions I'm beginning to suspect Obsidian is run by the US Government.

I thought about that also.  Only reason not to is potential for malware being transfered to clients. NWN2 is buggy enough couldn't be hard to imagine someone attacking clients through something like this.

Well, he and Tristram were almost equally easy, difficult to say. Orka was pretty easy too, as for Vulgar, well, don't know if I fought him. Don't think I fought Mo, as I didn't usually use mages, and therefore, I didn't have many mage duels.

Oh please. Orka would make short work of that silly monk of yours.
