CODI Finally Releases Content
« on: June 23, 2006, 12:13:21 PM »
Well, Papermonk confirmed that the City of Doors Initiative is dead. Damn lazy Planescape enthusiasts.

Anyway, he released everything they finished in a single package on NWVault. Link

This package includes over 40 monsters â?? from NPCs to Cranium Rats to Maelephants to Manes. It also includes many new portraits as well as the Tiefling PC model and some accompanying heads. Included in the package are some 120 placeables â?? many have been released, but I think some are new.

Later on we will release the rest of what we have in a "sandbox" package â?? meaning, it won't be "ready to use" but will be composed of hundreds of placeables (many complete), creatures and tiles in progress. Community members are welcome to sift through and finish and use these files as they see fit. We'll be releasing that as soon as we get it under control â?? as you can imagine, it is a great deal of content.

Couple things to compliment the new CODI content (which will hopefully make its way into an upcoming CEP version).

CODI Sigil Tileset ver. 2.0

Planescape: Torment Soundtrack for NWN

For those interested, here is a link to a forum where Adam Miller is converting CODI buildings from the Sigil tileset and CODI placeables into high-res models for NWN2!

Lots of great before and after pictures to check out: Saving Sigil
