First we headed down to Monterey for the Feast of Lanterns in Pacific Grove, just north of Carmel by the Sea. Throbble was *too embarrassed to let this post stand as it was written* I drank alot.
After this Throbble, her parents and I all drove 5 hours inland to
Sequoia & King's Canyon National Parks where her eldest brother works as a park ranger and we met up with her other brother (the one from Culann's Hounds) his wife and their two kids. We camped for the better part of a week and got to play with lots of dogs. The weather was around 100 degrees every day. I drank alot.
So, to recap: Vacation - good, bring you anything - yes, the above description, go - see above, Beaches - yes, Waterparks - passed a few on the highway, Amusment Parks - Yes (the National Park experience was quite amusing).
