awhile back i mentioned i was goin in for corrective-eye surgery...the first attempt failed because of the damn insurance, apparently the doctor was "out of the network" so after 3+ months i finally had it down August 3, 2005 at 09:50 EST.

i have double-vision...worse than my dad's (his is about 20 degrees off) mine is about 30 degrees, hence why i haven't gotten a driver's license...next step maybe laser surgery to correct and give me near 20/20.

One extremely hot summer day we went to a pizza place with some of our friends. The only place to sit our large group was right near the kitchen by the pizza oven. The air around us was actually wavy with the heat and I was pouring sweat. Finally our pizza came, I put some extra topings on and bit down. A peperoni I bit into catapulted a crushed red pepper into my eye. That was the hottest day of my life.

insurance should pay for most of it...i'm still on my dad's plan which is 60/40 (insurance pays 60%) and i'm not gettin laser surgery...i look cool in glasses plus i can't do this:  :new_russian:
