Holy Moly check this out, they finally fixed the one thing I have been asking Bioware to fix from the beginning!

Keep trying, I timed out 3 times on Throbble's comp and 4 times on mine. Lots of traffic because it's new.

It keeps getting to 100% then saying patch failed to d/l correctly.. is there anything I can do to NOT have to d/l the ciritcal update, 85 megs on dialup??

Yes Bioware seems to be having some problems, This is what happens after a game has been out for 3 years and all the original staff are on to other projects.

I just let my Update program keep on failing and after a little bit it finally found the right file to download. Stupid thing

We do not want topics about any of the BioWare games in this particular forum--this is strictly for help with the web site. This means:

*and yes, i'm pissed...if i could i'd go blow Bioware's head office up right now

I DLed the rebuild from 420's link and it still will not update correctly. It is telling me I can not run the patch with my current install of NWN...I am confused

1. Khadgar, stop trying the update button and try this link dammit!

2. Anheg, you may have partially upgraded, you can try the critical rebuild for 1.65 to revert fully back then try 1.66 again.

3. Last night was a ton of monk vs. monk stunning fist duels! Monk duels are now MUCH shorter than before. YAY!

the last patch requires having hotu installed thats why u cant patch

btw now monks can stun everythin but pally /cot with very high fort or pms lol

we will have a legion of stunners on GodSpire !!!

Monk were always able to stun everything. Immunity to Mind Affecting Spells has always only available to monk class

b4 u just could cast calrity or mind blank to be inmune and couldnt stun over lvl 20 monks now it goes trough spells and through lvl 20 monks xD

Tyr was right, I DLed the wrong patch, but It still will not let me because it says

screw it.....i'll try and d/l the rebuild at school...so far i've YET to get past 47(ish)% before it times out....this is absolutely retarded...and now the patch itself has more than trippled (4.4megs -> 19.7megs) and just think how damn buggy NWN-2 is gonna be....oh joy...critical rebuilds up the ying-yang
