Here is what the Bioware tech support FAQ says:

Quote
1.12: How do I obtain replacement media for the Neverwinter Nights series?  (Back to Top)

Replacement media requests are handled by the publisher of a given product, in this case Atari. In addition, there should be contact information for replacement media in your manual. Here is a link to the Atari support page: http://www.atarisupport.com

There was a bunch of NWN CDs that were produced with a brittle inner ring that would cause them to shatter into a million pieces in really fast CD ROM drives. So Atari is used to replacing faulty NWN CDs by now.
