Unique Monster Hunt

Throbble and I made a list of the monsters we still need for the "A Unique Collection" achievement.

While the in-game achievement list, left to right, orders the monsters from Act 1-4 the order I using is based on the A Unique Collection List on the Gamepedia DiabloWiki

A couple of the act 3 monsters have conflicting locations as I have not yet seen a consensus between the wiki sources. Until that gets cleared up, Oh darn, I have to go kill more monsters and get more chances for legendary drops.

Nice one! I got to get back on that. Between patch 2.0 on the PTR and the fact that I bought Throbble Borderlands 2 so we could play multiplayer, I haven't spent much time in "real" Diablo 3 recently.

I better get on it before the expansion comes out...

Qurash the Reviled was the last one. Spawned on an instance which also had Arsect, the unique spider that captured a treasure goblin. I had my doubts as to if the area could spawn one of the monsters needed for the achievement if Arsect had already been encountered but there we are. Two unique monsters in the same area.

Nice! Between Borderlands 2 and the Public Test Realm (and some personal business) I haven't had a lot of time to hunt uniques.

Less than 10 to go now! Look at the bounties in adventure mode, sometimes these guys show up and that helps you tick them off faster.

The new Adventure Mode is great for hunting unique creatures on the list. You can check every act when you first log in and see if there are any bounties for creatures you need.

Throbble and I ran into Saha the Slasher on our way to get the bounty on Gart the Mad this week. and we just polished off a couple more this morning. (1 from act 3 and 2 from act 5!)

Once we fill out this list a bit I'll post the unique monsters we need in act 5. This monster list can be found in the achievements under Challenges, sub category Act V, "Special Assignment".

Ding dong done bee-hotch!!!!
 Otzi The Cursed was the last one to make the list but I got him and I killed him. Would have been nice if he dropped a legendary for the time it took to get this achievement but I'll take the fact that I did it. Now its time to take stock of the act 5 uniques and track the hunt for them.
