At one point or another, we've all seen a Sent random. Some more than others *cough*Kristie*cough* . DMs on the other hand are different because the rules don't apply to them. And yea, I probably could random someone after checking to make sure there are no newbs around, but I'm not because it's still against the rules. As a Sent, I'm supposed to enforce the rules. Doesn't it seem.... what's the word I'm looking for... stupid (can't think of a better word) to break rules that I'm trying to enforce?

Honestly, there really is nothing to do on CM. Even though it's PvP, I'm sure that most people go there for the social aspect of it. So yea, I didn't find it interesting cuz I didn't know anyone there. However, my recent visits there, it has been rather interesting. For those of you familiar with Joe Tuber, he's actually a really nice guy. He didn't know who I was though when I talked with him. So when you get to know the players there, the place isn't all that bad. And the best part is (I shouldn't say this since I'm a Sentinel), you can random there and not worry about getting dazed/stoned. I say this is best cuz there are times when I just wanna have fun on GodSpire with the others but can't do so because I'd be setting a bad example for any newbs and make them think that randoming is acceptable, and it's against the rules .

We all know who hexy is. I'd like to ask the other sents to stone on sight or someone to put another ban if not perm ban. I've freezed him 3 times within one hour for constantly using the Shout channel. I would've stoned him more but he kept hiding in the Horse Inn. I can't do anything to him while he's there.

Right, no need for crap between the servers which is why I'm pretty much dropping the issue before matters get any worse. You won't be seeing me post on BDT for a while cuz I want everyone to blow off some steam before they start seeing my account name again. As for seeing the two servers work together, maybe it'll happen one day. Not today, not tomorrow, but some day... years from now

Anyways, yea, what 420 said pretty much sums up the last few weeks. We just want peace and Mo goes for an hour visit on their server, leaves, tries to come back only to find out he's banned... finally meets Bug in person and gets booted/banned. I'm sure I'm missing stuff in there but those were the major events in my book. All the insults/name callling didn't start till Mo got banned.

Again, I'm open to the idea of letting Nara be a DM and would not object to the decision. However, we are a community and we've heard their opinions and it seems some of them are against it for the moment. Without the community, GodSpire wouldn't be what it is today. Nara also agrees with those individuals so maybe we should hold off from making her a DM or even a sent until she and the community feels she's ready. Hopefully with her experience as DM, it won't take as much time makin her a Sentinel than it normally does.

That more what a dm does on a rpg server I think. Playing an npc doesn't happens often on pvp servers. And it's indeed a nice bonus if a dm can script, they easyer can reach the ear of the host to get script problems fixed that they notice while dming.

Anyways, for purposes of PvP, DM acts mainly as a referee. Then there are the side jobs, as you pointed out, like debugging.

It's just a bonus to have a DM that knows how to script. You know, in case the host has a goal and can refer to others for help. Or assign certain tasks to help out with the mod.
